Thoughts on Phantasy Star Portable 2 for PSP

I was looking at screen shots and gameplay footage and it looks amazing. Does anyone have it that can lend their opinions? How are the controls and story? Do you need the first one to play this one? Thanks all!

I tried the demo and found it to be ok. Locking on to enemies and rolling around dodging shit can be a bit rough. I think they did a decent job w/ the in game menu.

I heard there are TONS of weapons, items, etc and that is sort of a grindfest type game. You get to go replay levels and can jack up the difficulty to earn more shit.

The graphics do look great. Didn't get much of a story in the demo.

I hope Sega releases psp2 infinity.
First one was fun-ish.
