First Uncharted 3 gameplay footage sets a house on fire

That fire looks really stunning. Can't wait to see more sequences with Drake and Sully, Uncharted 2 needed more of those and a better final battle.

Damn, that fire is phenomenal.  One of the (very brief) gameplay snippets at the end of the trailer showed some fantastic water effects, too.  I have to admit, when this was first announced part of me was wondering how they could possibly top Uncharted 2, but it looks like the boys and girls at Naughty Dog have been hard at work.

Holy shit at that fire! The melee has been significantly improved, did you see that first takedown where he jumps from the balcony right on top of the guy? Man, I can't believe the game already looks this good and is actually playable, they still have another 10 months to go!

Uncharted 2 was probably one of the worst purchases I've made in recent memory. The whole time I was playing it I was thinking, Is this it? Maybe it's because I've never been a huge fan of Indiana Jones. The game was ripping it off so hard it just felt so uninspired. The gameplay was all right, but it felt like many other shooters I'd played before.

It's a shame but whatever. They want to bring in the audience that hasn't played the game and need a recognizable face. It will probably suck anyway so fuck it.

I didn't know that Nolan was actually kind of worried about the movie. It makes sense though, Uncharted is beloved by many people and it really shows that Naughty Dog cares about the fans by making a game with all of their resources while trying to have a good time in the process, and that can be seen in the final product.

With movie or not though, the games are great and that's what matters in the end anyway.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it will be included. Not only is it a mandatory feature these days but just like with killzone 3 they already have to render the game twice anyway for 3D. Let's hope that unlike KZ3 co-op will also be online.
