Two words: Launching Roll.
Acrobatics is really good, but not for anything transportation related.

Alright, alright, ill see about picking this up soon.
Also is it better to just use a USB Keyboard, or try and pick up a headset? Do they make headsets that work for both the ps3 and PC? Be nice to pick up a multi use one than one for just one or the other. Thanks!

USB headsets work fine on either. Also, get a keyboard just for safety sake. The Voice chat is constantly fudged up, so it never hurts to have the option handy.
So yourself a favor, go for flying :)

The keyboard is most useful for hotkeys. There is significant UI lag, and cycling through menus is a chore if you accidentally stop on the wrong one. With a keyboard, you just press the button for the menu you want and it opens.
I would recommend a USB keyboard as well as a USB headset.

Alright thanks guys. I already have the keyboard, so ill keep my eye out for a headset. Im hoping they make a decent multiplatform one, as id like one for my PC as well. Guess I shall have to go and browse the webs for info. Cheers!

I use a USB headset that came with the original SOCOM on PS2.... yeah baby. It is my main microphone for my PC as well, extremely clear. Volume levels are a little funky in-game though, but it works... my point is that there ought to be a cheap USB headset available online, since SOCOM is really old.

So anyway, I beat Bane last night and got to level 15. Things are getting pretty difficult to solo now.

Me and parn waited 3 hours for you on wednesday night, but you never showed.
Ironically enough we did the bane duo >_>. also of note, our first attempt at said duo resulted in me freezing at the confirmation screen. GOD I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

My bad, I probably got on too late, since I was on call the night before. Argh.
If you guys are free again anytime soon on a Friday or Saturday night (since those are free for me), I'm game.

I'm off for the next few days, so I can probably get on at least one more time. With any luck I'll freeze at the loading screen just to fuel my infinite rage a wee bit more.

I got to level 25 and finished all the races up to Expert with platinum medals. I kicked myself so much after I found out the feats associated with the races are not tied to you medal. Argh. I swear those races were programmed by a fucking sadist.

Got to level 30 last night and finished Pro Athlete feat. Still trying for Natural Talent.
Also, Parn, I hope you are happy because I rerolled a while back and got an acrobat character now. You asshole.

Oh, I finished all of them with platinum medals, as well as the feats for completing adept/expert races without movement traits.
Many things were broken to achieve this.
