Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

I don't have many knickknacks laying around and I don't see myself starting a huge collection, but I fucking love the slime from DQ. I'm not even the biggest DQ fan ever. But something about that fucking slime, all happy and gloopy

I want to get this

http://www.amiami.jp/shop/?set=english&vgForm=ProductInfo&sku=CGD2-03379&template=default/product/e_display.html

And the the PS2 Slime controller is something i crave.

I already have a small slime button on a backpack. Some nerd gave me a knowing nod on the subway when he saw it.

I'm sure some of you fine lads and lasses have interesting collections, and I've seen a tidbit of them in the photo thread.

Weird junk I have:

- Numerous capsule toys. Some of the dogs from the Mijos guys, these weird little aliens, bunch of ninjas from a million years ago, etc. What I regret really not getting is like, okay, one time I saw a capsule machine filled with little plastic catholic saints -- again I think by the Mijos guys -- and one was also the Pope. Yeah. I wanted a plastic pope.

- A few little plastic horses, a plastic microraptor which I usually place so it's riding one of the plastic horses, and a three Macross/Battletech mechs, which are used as long-range support for my raptor cavalry when the reckoning begins. I mean wait what.

- A plush velociraptor, and some hugedamn plush goat that I think I have pictures of in the picture thread.

- A Raiho doll but I think a lot of people around here have those ;)

- A vintage-style Nauga monster. Reproduction obviously since the ORIGINALS are like damn expensive, but official merchandise and not one of those creepy modern Nauga dolls. I got this for christmas a few years ago. It is my favorite christmas present.

- Various wooden figurines/ornaments.

- These goddamn amazing fish magnets I got this summer and put on my fridge. I need to get pictures.

- Bunch of framed posters I got for like really, really cheap from dodgy home depot-esque stores (Garden Ridge, Value City) having sales over the past four years. I think I have like 10 and I doubt I spent more than 30 or 40 on them total. And they're pretty hefty too. I still need to get a bunch of them hung up.

We have two rubber duckies by the hot tub. One is a normal yellow one and the other has a xmas/winter thing going on w/ a scarf.

Please name them for me.

One of my friends collects rubber ducks too. She probably has a hundred at least, especially after her psycho ex boyfriend mailed her a box of like 50 of them in an attempt to win her heart back. I think it just looked insane.

I would have probably fallen for that ridiculous gesture.

I'm proudest of my collection of crappy demos I've procured from local shows.  There are demos of bands whose music I am actually ashamed to have liked/listened to, but I can look back and recall the shows I got them at.  Heh, some demos are from bands who sounded great that night but later on I realized were meh or just flat out lame.

I wouldn't trade my collection of crappy demos for anything, though.  I luffers them.  I'd get rid of all my video game related stuff before I got rid of my crappy demos.

EDIT: Nowadays I'm more selective of the local music I buy at shows, though I'm still a sucker for 45" vinyl (or just vinyl in general.)  I prefer physical media to digital downloads when it comes to music... especially vinyl.  Guitars just sound a million times better on vinyl than on anything else.

I used to collect comics but haven't bought one in years = \  Oh! and comic book related action figures.  Now I just stick to collecting games and DVDs.  I kinda really want one of these though lol
