I keep wondering: if everyone can say "al-Qaeda" or "Baathist"  the same way (for the most part), why so many variations of the Lebanese guerillas' name?

The local newspapers are using different spellings over here. Hezbollah and Hizbollah, mostly.

Personally, I don't really care much. I'm more inclined to spelling it as "Hezbollah".

Hezbollah. I've read enough articles on Lebanon lately (my boss finally left there yesterday though, so I can stop worrying about him at least =P) but I personally have only seen it spelled that way.
