Maybe they say something about the game in the conference of the 18th of January that Square Enix is preparing.

From what I read, there's going to be new info and new trailers for the projects of the 1st Production Department, this dudes has been working on: Final Fantasy XIII, Versus XIII, Agito XIII, the Kingdom Hearts series and the Dissidia games.

In other words, this is kind of like the "Nomura division" of Square Enix (also know as "the bad games with high productions values"). Also, I'm pretty sure that they are going to censor the trailers just like the last time they did in the live stream of other conference of a couple of years ago.

I really hope to see more info of Agito XIII, last time I read something about it I was really impress. I'm not holding my breath though.

Anything can fixed EXCEPT scenario because there isn't any good writer at SQEX all of them MIA.

Then keep the cutscenes relatively low and we won't have a huge problem.

Would be funny if XIII-2 was nothing more then a giant world map filled with towns.

Funny, the *exact* thing was on my mind.  I can't imagine towns being anything fancy given the "we just arrived" ending.

Time for Square Enix to make another multi million seller on brand name alone

I hope not; but their current track record affords me only the tiniest bit of optimism.

Really though, just make the game happen on Pulse and don't make me run down tunnels, and we're at least off to a good start.

This is going to be their excuse when we complain the towns look more like a village with about 10 houses if that much.
They'll say they "can't" make them as big as XII because they "just arrived" at Pulse.

I haven't even bought PS3/played FFXIII yet and here comes FFXIII-2. It's like with FFX-2, it came out when I was still playing FFX.
Maybe it'll be the opposite of FFX. FFX was awesome and FFX-2 had some charms, but was mostly lame (though some may disagree).
I love FFX-2 and not only 'cause it was sequel to my top fav rpg and 'cause I discovered Koda Kumi & Jade Valerie through it.

btw Japanese X360 ver of FFXIII somes with extra chapter? Like FFX-2 had Last Mission?

Well, if it HAS to take place on Pulse, they can just extrapolate what everyone liked most, 20 hours in, about the original FF13.

....that, or it's a prequel.  DOOM.

30 hours of Pulse with quests span among different continents, sign me up!  The FFX-2 formula might actually work well here.

FFX-2 got one thing right: the battles were a lot of fun.

XIII-2 aside, I'm still waiting to see what the hell Versus and Agito look like.

Could there be any other surprises at this event....like a Sigma Harmonics release date?  I know people say it would be hard to localize this game because of the way the text in the game is or something of that nature.  I'm proud to own the soundtrack though, lol.

After releasing FFXIV in a beta state, I really think they do want us to hate them.

What the heck?  I disliked FFXIII as much as anyone here and I still don't get this statement.  You know nothing about the game at this point.
