Online selling (paypal?)

If I intent to sell goods, whats the best way to do so?
I'm not exactly sure how I'd do it, is all. I thought people use something like paypal, I guess I'm just trying to ensure reliability. Sorry if this is vague, I'll answer whatever, but the help is appreciated.

I've had good success selling crap on amazon.
What you need is a bank account and a amazon account. One thing that's nice is amazon gives you a shipping credit that covers most of the shipping.
I think amazon takes out like 15% of the total to stuff their coffers. I'm not sure if ebay does or how much if they do.
Also, w/ amazon you can see how much people are selling them for in various conditions like new, old, used, etc.

Also, amazon seemed more reputable to me than ebay. I don't have any basis but there it is.
Amazon also gives you an amount of shipping credit depending on what kind of shipping the buyer wants. for standard you get like 3 bux, expedited you get like 6, and so on and so forth.
edit: sorry. forgot about the double post rule. won't happen again skip

I'd try amazon. Even if they take more out like Yoda says (I have no clue whether they do or don't), they often go for higher prices than ebay does from my experience.
Paypal sucks so not having to deal with them is a blessing.

Thanks both, I really appreciate the input. I wouldn't mind selling a few things.
Sorry to ask a stupid question, but upon selling, what goes on? Ho do you send it off?

Never have done Amazon before, but I was told you put the item up for sale at your price. When someone buys it, Amazon takes out their cut, then deposits the rest into your bank account. They send you an email to notify you and I
think
Amazon wants you to send it out within 3 days of purchase. Could be longer.

Not sure how the Royal Mounted Parcel Serve works up there but make sure you get delivery confirmation. I'm pretty sure some asshole burned me because I never got that. I'm pretty sure he got my copy of The Essential Barbarian: Rules Supplement for D&D 3.5
It's easy as pie to sell crap. I sold tons of college books this way.
