Nope, but I just like how people care so much about the details of this remake with each new batch of screenshots. For example.

People are so whiny when it comes to this stuff. What did people really expect? It was a N64 game. They can't improve the graphics that much, can they? Besides, it will probably end up looking better when you actually play it compared to the screenshots.

Yeah, is also just kinda funny to see that some people said: "This game is not like the one I played in my childhood, therefore, is crap."

Looking at these comparison shots of Ocarina, I would say that the graphics were improved considerably from the N64 version.

All things considered, especially with how other games look, this still looks kinda poopy.  I'm not changing my mind, and screw nostalgia (thats a bullshit reason for a "remake"), but I would look to see it more in motion; even HD games look kinda crappy as screenshots, seeing it in motion is always best.

Having played it myself for a bit on PAX East, there is no overhaul on the visual style itself, but everything is far smoother, and actually looks quite better than the screenshots, at least to me.

Man, you are hard to please. I  honestly don't see how you could say those screenshots look bad. Then again, I'm not one for caring about graphics.

I don't either - but waaay better has come from Nintendo.  If the new Res Evil game looks as good as it does, why does this one look way worse than Twilight Princess?  But again -- I'd rather see it in action before I'm more absolute with my opinion.

This is true. From what I have seen of Revelations, I think it will be a good example of what the 3DS is capable of.

I wonder how much they can actually improve the graphics of a game if they're not doing a full blown remake, though. That's why the slightly upgraded graphics aren't very surprising to me. They look much smoother, but I wasn't expecting a complete graphic overhaul.

Hm, looking at those comparison shots, they do seem to have created completely new character models and changed geometry and textures in the environments. If they went through the trouble of creating new assets I have to wonder if they couldn't have taken it a step further. Then again, Revelations is in a league of its own, nothing of what has been shown for the 3DS comes close, gotta give credit to capcom here.
Currently playing: Uncharted 3, Dark Souls, Team ICO Collection, Atelier Totori, Child of eden.

It's amazing what they did, that's kinda why I'm bitter than Nintendo couldn't do better on their own bloody handheld.
Minor role I know, but the Hyrule knights look a step above the N64 graphics...

I did watch the camcorder vids on YT, and I like some of the visual changes, they're much less stoic anyways.  I just really gotta gear up to face the Water Temple again and a few other "fun" puzzles (I did find it funny how much easier the water palace in Twilight Princess was :D )...

EDIT: music video for the 3DS Prof Layton game

This is awesome -- If I ever did a song for a video game, I'd love to be remade in "its" style haha

Have they confirmed the "release date" for the store itself?

I have to say, the 3d effect is fucking awesome. I just tried it today, oh man.

I can't wait till we get to the point where more games can have this kind of depth.
