As lame as it is, I like feeling more of "being in the game" with the 3D on.

I don't think that's bad either, certainly I see more purpose to it than movies even as just a gimmick due to interactivity. I've just been fascinated in seeing how well it REALLY works for gameplay in the right situations, and a platformer is one of the best ways to test there.

Anyone else get Mario Kart 7? It's a lot of fun.

I did! I like it... but it's definitely not the best in the series. There are some awesome new tracks and a couple of mediocre ones. I was particularly disappointed in Koopa City. The lack of a VS mode is kind of annoying too. Having said all that, I really like the gliding.

I think it may be my favorite in the series, or at least a tie with Mario Kart 64. The gliding really is a fun, new aspect to the game. It be used strategically too to gain a little bit of a lead.

With the upcoming possibility of DLC, we could get new tracks and new features added to the game.

We should create an RPGfan community if more people announce they have the game!

DLC would be awesome... but, coming from Nintendo, it seems a bit unlikely. I guess we can hope for the best!

Kinda cool???

DJ Deadmau5 got a sig from Shig, and had it tattooed on.  He also has a heart meter tattooed on (with a few missin' D: ).

Interesting.  Has a sort of Mega Man feel to it, but not quite.  Maybe Professor Hatsworth?  (Dang, I never finished that game.  Oh, well - not gonna happen now.  My reflexes have moved on to different things.)

OK, those are pretty good.  I am less miffed that I had to spend $80 more.

Kid Icarus is going to come with a piece of plastic and a box art that gets "the Kirby treatment".

...

Day 1?

Just to add quickly, hoping we'll see a Golden Sun follow up on the 3DS...

Anyone realize that the commercial for the GBA Golden Sun featured what would eventually become a summon in Dark Dawn?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOvwdVp8Fvo&feature=player_detailpage#t=38s (commercial)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMnV5hH50Ug (summon)
Despite being weird as shit, I kinda liked the idea for the ad, maybe the developers thought so too???  It's a freaking dragon chandaleir!!

Just noticed this. Yeah, decent list. Yet I'm really miffed that they put in Metroid Fusion instead of Zero Mission, which was an infinitely better game. Oh well, maybe they realize they'll get more money if they put that one up for sale (hopes). I've noticed that Nintendo always seemed to have a hardon for Metroid Fusion, even though critics and fans vastly prefered ZM.

Why complain for free stuff that also happens to be awesome?

Anyways, I believe this was said in the 8-4 podcast a while ago when the free GBA games were announced. But is it true that Nintendo has mentioned that is not going to put the free ambassador games on sale in the future? The deal was for those who bought the 3DS at launch, or something like that was said in the podcast.

If that's true then... well, that's pretty lame. Because having a virtual store to buy GBA games from would be great for the 3DS. There's so many great games from that time aswell.

Gunstar Super Heroes anyone? ...no? :( *sigh*
