For those of you who have it, how's the battery life? I've been seeing some complaints about that elsewhere, but I've also heard from other people that it's not too bad.

Same here. Provided I play it and it doesn't make me sick or give me a migraine I'm all over this. First I need to get my hands on another PSP

I have yet to see it in action, and I'm not even thinking about buying one until I do. I'll trade in my lite if I end up wanting one bad enough. I have a GBA SP for that gen and earlier, and the 3ds plays ds games, so yeah.
I'm thinking I'll endup holding out until 3ds1.2 is available.

Amazon gave me a $35 credit towards a 3DS game.  It expires in June and I was going to use for Ocarina of Time but by then, the credit will be gone.  I think I may use it on Samurai Warriors but I always didn't like the handheld Warriors games.  What about Steel Diver?  IS it as good as people say?

I know Gamespot didn't like Steel Diver. They gave it a 4.5. I haven't seen any other reviews for it yet, though.

Ouch, just by looking at Steel Diver, I wasn't really impressed but I could almost say the same thing for Pilotwings Resort.  It looks too much like Wii Sports Resort.  I just miss the atmosphere of Pilotwings 64.  That game is still amazing and the soundtrack kicks ass too.

Steel Diver feels like an extended tech demo.  I'd say go for SSF4 or Ridge Racer (or if you don't have it already, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is a great strategy game).

I was thinking of SSF4 but I went ahead and bought Samurai Warriors. The total with the credit and free shipping was $4.99 :)

I'm just a big dumbass fan for the repetitive Samurai Warriors/Dynasty Warrior games, lol.

Did you buy Pilotwings? I was going to pick it up, but I was weary. It's gotten average reviews. I was hoping it would be like Pilotwings 64.

It hasn't arrived yet in the mail but from what I can tell, its NOT like Pilotwings 64 :(

It still looks fun though :)

begin excited ranting:

Street Fighter 4 looks really good with that over the shoulder view, but I am too much of a wuss to start manhandling a new system with crazy combos.  I don't want my slider to get chunky like an N64 controller.  I'll get over it soon, I really want to beat people up online.

Samurai Warriors is what I'm playing most.  It feels pretty complete, and I heard that there are downloadable quests and local versus modes or something.

I still haven't gotten past the first mission in Ghost Recon because the 3D effects trigger my ADD and I just daydream about how neat everything is.  What I have played combined with what I've read is totally doing it for me though.

I got Sims 3 and Bust-a-Move for my girlfriend... strangely, she isn't sure if she likes Sims 3 or not yet either.  I took a picture of her butt in 3D and she got mad.

Besides all that, the AR card games are amazing.  It's creepy as hell staring into a hole in your floor that you know does not exist.  I hope we see ideas like this develop more.

Oh dang - I forgot about that!  I might have to get that game after all.

Yeah, I did enjoy the AR games, and it's neat how my area gets distorted by it. I did have some trouble playing it though because my room isn't well lit. Face Raiders is also a very interesting game in it's own right. Been making faces out of inanimate objects for fun.
