You know, with the way the 3d works on this thing, a port of Muramasa: the demon blade would look sick with those multi layered backgrounds.
Currently playing:
Xbox 360 - NIER
Wii - Metroid Prime 2: Echos (trilogy version)
PSP - Disgaea
DS - SMT: Devil Survivor

Why is Japan not buying the 3DS?

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/06/01/goo_3ds_survey/

    1. Price is high/waiting for a price drop
    2. Satisfied by DS/DSi
    3. Worried about eye strain
    4. Worried about getting sick from the screen
    5. Few launch titles
    6. Will buy once a game I want is released
    7. Satisfied by cell phone and smartphone games
    8. Satisfied by PSP
    9. The battery is weak
    10. It's heavy and I don't feel like carrying it with me
    11. Can't play Game Boy Advance games
    12. The color I want isn't available
    13. Can't play Game Boy games
    14. I'll save my money for NGP, thank you very much
    15. Waiting for a version with a larger screen
    16. Because you can't move your DSi Points over
    17. The buttons layout looks hard to use
    18. No Famicom/NES in the Virtual Console
    19. The zoom view for DS games is hard on the eyes
    20. Waiting until my friend buys it
Currently playing: Uncharted 3, Dark Souls, Team ICO Collection, Atelier Totori, Child of eden.

on the subject of 3DS is there any new content in OoT 3DS other than 3D? if the answer is no i think nintendo is over estimating the draw of 3D.

A larger screen means you have to hold it farther away from you, I think... even then, there would be a "size-wall" they couldn't breach.  I don't know if there is a "one size fits all" besides this current one... hmmm, they'd have to develop some sort of adjustable size maybe?

I don't have one because they are expensive and there are no games I want for it right now. I'm guessing I'll change my mind by the of the year or early 2012.

That's an interesting point, actually. I hadn't thought about that. Though for me it's not so much the larger screen, more than they're for sure going to release a new, fancier version. Not that I personally cared much for the DSi.

I'm just waiting for some games I'm after to come out on it. I made the mistake of getting a DS when they came out, only to have one game for it (SM64DS), until around the time when Mario Kart came out. I'll probably end up getting a 3DS when Tales of the Abyss comes out. I'm not really fussed about Zelda, but I'll probably end up throwing that in as a bonus.

I'm considering it for Zelda, but I could borrow one for that then just keep waiting instead.

My DS fat is actually my Wii sensor's stand.  I also own copies of Ping-Pals and Sprung.  DS systems only come out when I'm bored and employed, it seems.

Someday, this 3DS will hoist the genitalia of some new Nintendo console.  Wii Stream, probably.

MGS3 3DS vs PS2:

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-mgs3-3ds-vs-playstation2

All I'm seeing in those comments is "Blah blah blah graphics blah blah blah".

The 3DS version looks great. Why would anyone complain when they get to play MGS3 on a handheld?

People are saying the 3DS is equal in power to the PSP. If that were true, don't you think Capcom would have ported SF4 over to the PSP a long time ago?

I'm sure I'll buy one eventually, but right now I have zero interest in it. My son is happily playing games on the DS, so he doesn't seem to care, either.
Remakes of old games are NOT a draw for me at all. I never understood why they were. People are way too damn nostalgic. I want NEW, awesome games. Until that happens, and the price drops a bit, I'll happily keep playing all my other systems.

Well, that's not always true. For example, I've never played MGS3 and this seems like a great way for me to play it. Some people, especially kids, may have never played Ocarina of Time. For some people it's nostalgia, but for other people it's a new experience.

I've never played Ocarina of Time. I was too busy playing Crash Bandicoot and Metal Gear Solid at that time. I really wanted a N64 to play Zelda and Paper Mario but that never happened because money doesn't appear out of nowhere or fall from trees, so yeah, now it seems like the perfect time to buy the game.

But to be honest though, I'm way more interested in that Tetris game for the 3DS that Hudson is doing. I love me some Tetris, oh! and the Bit.Trip Saga Collection is going to be pretty fun too.
