[My first post]
There are a large number of titles coming out so I'll just have to purchase my favourites (Xenosaga Ep III, Zelda: TP) and hold back on the easy to get titles.
The first-tier games include:
- Disgaea 2 - $59.99
- SMT: Devil Summoner - $59.99
- Ar Tonelico - $59.99
- Summon Night: Swordcraft Story -$39.99
- Yggdra Union - $39.99
- Tales of Tempest - $49.99
- Tales of the Abyss - $59.99
- Zelda: Phantom of Hourglass (if it is out....hope not) - $49.99
- Shin Megami Tensei DS - $49.99
- Xenosaga Episode I-II - $49.99
- Children of Mana - $49.99
That's like $570 CDN for the tier 1 titles. O_O Add $120 Twilight Princess and Xenosaga Episode for a total of $690.
Then comes in the second-tier titles which includes:
- Rogue Galaxy - $59.99
- ASH - $49.99
- DQ Swords - $59.99
- Fire Emblem - $59.99
- Valkyrie Profile 2 - $59.99
- Final Fantasy XII - $59.99
- Super Mario Galaxy - $59.99
- Sonic Wild Fire - $59.99
- Baiten Kaitos Origins - $59.99
- Phantasy Star Universe - $59.99
- Pokemon Pearl - $49.99 (if it releases.. I hope not)
- Duck Hunt - $59.99
* Tier 2 is in order from highest to lowest priority.
Total $700
Grand total = 1390$ + Nintendo Wii
Add 14% tax. I believe that these games can be purchased even if I work moderately. :)
If not---I'm ruined. :S
Nonetheless, I'm gonna be happy for a long time. :)
[Added Later]
Damnit, I forgot to include a few DS games on to the list. I have edited my calculations as well.
Purpose: To determine if release-dates, price are spot on. The prices are in Canadian figures.

Looks like the delay's unofficially confirmed.
Eh. Duno how trustworthy that is, as both DQ Heroes and FFIII are slated on their site to come out later than September while Square's site still insists both will be out in September, but then they have yet to put a page up for VP2, which is supposed to be out then too. Nevertheless, the burden's lightened.
Edit: Wait, DQ Heroes is still set to Septemer (or was pushed back up after Square announced the official date), while FFIII is missing from IGN's story of Square summer releases. Well, guess those amongst us that want Rogue Galaxy this year are fucked! And possibly those of us that wanted FFIII long before FFXII came out. But we were kinda fucked in that regard no matter when it came out.

I really need a job to get all of these games. I already pre-orderd Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime because you get a cool keychain for free when you pre-order it! I can't wait to play tank battles with my friends.
There are way too many DS games coming out this year that I want.
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime
Final Fantasy III
Contact
Deep Labyrinth
Yoshi's Island 2
Star Fox Command
I really need a job soon!

Well, I know I'm gonna have to get FFXII and Phantasy Star Universe for sure. Thank god the PS3 come out in the same month as my b-day, otherwise I wouldn't be able to get a bunch of games, I'd have lay off for a while.

SMT:DS has yet to be revealed, if it even /exists/, and unless you're planning to import XS1&2 is likely never coming out in english, thanks to a combination of Namco's spotty record when it comes to localizing their RPGs, and the fact that the game apparantly just sucked.
Stuff like Duck Hunt, I think is more likely to be a much cheaper Wii VC game, a graphically updated version of the original. As for any other games (I never heard of ASH), it's entirely possible some of those games on your list will get delayed, thus further dropping the amount you'd have to spend: Rogue Galaxy already proves this.
