Oh boy... Even though we're in an era of sequels and remakes I really didn't see this coming.

I enjoyed the last two movies of the trilogy. for what they were.... cheesy scifi action.
If they really did a sequel I wish they'ed take the movies in a new direction. Didn't Neo die? unggggh

I've lost interest already, then. I don't want some bullcrap with him coming back somehow.
As cracked out as some of the story was in 2 and 3 I actually did like the ending where he sacrificed himself.
The worst thing in the trilogy?
This little rat bastard

Did anyone besides me play the Path of Neo game? I think the Wachowskis were absolutely right to kill him off in the movie, and I loved their over-the-top answer to needing to put a final boss in the game. Here's a bit with them talking about it that is shown just before that fight.

Wait, is that real?
If it is, my respect for the Wachowski brothers just reversed polarity. It was -700, and it just instantly went to +700.

That is absolutely for real. That exact video shows up in the game after Neo and Smith fight in the rain from the last movie, after you get his health far enough down.
After that video, this happens:

What the fuck.
What he said.
I thought Keanu didn't want to do these any more plus the fact that HIS CHARACTER DIED.
He must be broke. Has he BEEN in anything lately?
Wait:

Update: Reports of Neo's resurrection have been greatly exaggerated. EW reports that "a rep for Reeves [said], 'None of it is true.'" So… no Matrix sequels. Is that a bad thing?
Oh.

So was Keanu talking out of his ass or didn't he say that at all? Or maybe he wasn't supposed to spill the beans yet?

Have the Wachowski brothers made anything else of worth or is the 1st matrix their only legitimate success?
