Honestly, given how some of these other games of theirs have done I think they just plain fucked up by not releasing Vesperia PS3 in a timely manner. Sounds like that would've been a more profitable venture than Enslaved and especially Splatterhouse ended up being.

I agree with Parn. They already localized it, the game would have to be the biggest flop ever to make them lose money and considering how many quality jrpgs are out there (not) there's definitely a market for it.

My wife bought me a 360 arcade for my birthday a few years back, and I bought a PS3 after the price drop. Set aside money for a few paychecks and bingo! New system. Not that complicated.

Enslaved was pretty awesome.  Just one of those a-shame cases it didnt sell well (short too).

I agree - I think a lot of people wouldn't have bought it.  I'm surprised they wouldn't have risked it - but I guess, at the same time, they simply didn't want to make that risk.  Aren't there more X360's in the States?  Some people are still hopeful - saying there's enough "hints" that its eventually gonna happen...but..

I've heard the same. Actually I heard that the formula that there using to determine whether Xillia comes over is that however many units ToGf sells in NA, it needed to sell a thousand more copies for them to bring Xillia over. :-/

I don't either - not by this point and time.  We're getting Graces.  And I hope to Christ we get Xillia (to me, it looks waay better).
I'm not too sure how much they expect to sell, which scares me given the niche crowd Tales or anime RPGs already are.

Can't Bamco just budget themselves better?

There's a limit to what they can do realistically. Only so many resources (some already sunk into other games, like Dark Souls) with no real guarantee of Tales games getting decent sales... yet.
