Kinda makes me want to play the Tales games I own, although I dont own but a few. (Tales of Destiny, Eternia, Phantasia on the GBA and Symphonia)

If you can like the first few, you're gold after that, because it gets graphically, story-ily, and battle-ly more superior and refined.

I like Leia/Reia design too. Inomata's first for not letting me down.

I'd say to play them in the production order, that way you'll know the cameo characters/boss as they come.
Phantasia -> Destiny -> Eternia -> Symphonia -> Abyss

and the GBA version of Phantasia is apparently the easiest. Some guy hacked it and did every boss fight with a full party at lvl 1 successfully. So that should be a quick and easy playthrough.

Is Destiny the PS2 remake? Definitely worth import if you can. D2 is also a great game. IMO they are funner than Eternia.

I also agree that tales is a series that progressed and evolved very well, and now they are almost getting it perfect after making toV.

I'm sad too. I heard a lot that the versions were plenty similar... but they aren't.

Browser games, so strange, Sakura Taisen has a browser game coming out also, I guess it's easier to release a game if you have no proper budget for publishing?

It just pisses me off that there are SOOooo many Tales games now. I remember when it was just Tales of Phantasia, Destiny and Eternia. Also, they need to re-release some of the older games to the Western market, one for example Tales of Destiny 2. It pissed me off that they released Eternia and slapped Tales of Destiny II on it. The logo is also ugly and you can tell it was poorly put on there. Eternia is one of my favs in the series but why lie to people? It's like the crap with Final Fantasy II/IV and III/VI.
