To the Baba Yetu haters: keep hatin'. Shit is hot no matter what you say.
Christopher Tin is currently nominated for not one but *two* grammy's. One for his CD "Calling All Dawns" (which is awesome: 12 songs, 12 different languages, totally solid musical ideas), and the other is for the live performance of Baba Yetu that VGL has been doing. That man is heroic.
Wanted to bring this back up, because I just found out that both of those nominations have morphed into WINS! Yeehaw! This is the first time music written specifically for a videogame *won* at the Grammy's.

I loved Suiko 4's. Nice blend of game-meets-suiko-meets-tropical.

YW!
I played that game countless hours with my friend in HS. We'd have a treaty to kill off all the CPU players first then fight each other until the end.
That remains the longest time I played a single game in one sitting. We started playing at about 7pm then played all night until about 8am then went and got some tacos from this 24hour taco stand.
It's really fun, if a bit antiquated now. If you like fucking around w/ psx games pick it up.
I thought of the game because I was playing resident evil last night, tried saving but my memory card was filled. It was filled w/ Risk saves :)

Streets of Rage
MGS main theme is fantastic.
Persona 4 intro song is great too.
I also agree with what grim said in the OP, uncharted 2's main theme is great.
