So we moved into a new place a few months ago and skipped hooking up TV service, so we have a nice plasma with a blu-ray player and Netflix running on it. We're really trying to experiment with new ways of getting TV. We've been watching Fringe, House, HIMYM and a couple others online, which took getting used to, but has become tollerable. I miss full HD.
We're kinda stuck, though, when it comes to new TV. Everything released is so painfully dull or just a rehash of previous garbage. I've become an HBO/Shotime supporter the last few years. Dexter and Weeds are all-time faves, A Game of Thrones should be good, and I really enjoyed the Wire when it was still around.
Too many good shows vanish (RIP Firefly and BSG) and too many hang around far too long (American Idol, Survivor, Reality Show X, etc).

I've been dying to watch Weeds.
I'm also dying to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm...GET BACK ON.
Watched the latest House. Pretty good, and Masters wasn't as annoying as usual. Definitely one of the better ones the last little while, and makes up for last weeks stupid use of film parodies.

Man, Weeds is crazy good. 3 seasons in 3 nights. I'm hoping to grab 4,5 and 6 from a friend of mine today:)

Only a few more episodes of the wire left.
Season 5 is fucked up. I love Clay Davis.
Best crime/cop show I've ever seen. So damn good.

Finished The Wire. Probably in my top 5 of shows watched. Before I started I was sick of people saying how good this show is, especially people who don'y like "cop" shows.
Well count me in that lot. This show is incredible. Great characters, excellent dialog, and a great ending despite the show being rushed.
Every season has a different angle, but it all ties together.

Watching the follow-up to Louis Theroux's documentary on the WBC. It utterly breaks my heart seeing these brainwashed people.
In the last documentary he talked to the daughter of one of the guys there and she was very into it from what we saw. The weirdest part was four years later when he comes back she has been kicked out the church (Her family doesn't contact her) and she looks very. Very. different. Boobs out, hair dyed, piercings, make-up and provocative art on the walls.
She looks like she is really trying to get as far away from the WBC as she possibly can.
