He was, wasn't he? I recently started at the beginning, but I've only got the DVDs up to sometime early in the second Doctor's run, so that's as far as I've gotten.
On a side note that I hope I didn't already post here, check out the credits. Apparently, the actor was always credited as playing Doctor Who until David Tennant convinced them to change it to "The Doctor." Because as he said, the character's not actually named Doctor Who - he's just The Doctor. It's the
show
that's Doctor Who. I kind of like what a fanboy that makes him sound like. :)

Parks and Rec
-- The wedding food was an excellent solution, one I'd hope to adopt one day (but more eclectic, from all places I love to eat at), and we got some awesome physical comedy from Ron Swanson. Love the man. Meanwhile, poor Ann, being the more level-headed character of the show, still struggles getting a proper storyline. Anyways, best secondary character in this show? Perd. He wasn't in this week, but I thought I'd say it.
The Office
-- continues to demonstrate how much its ship has sank. It was a good episode, but you know there's a problem when the whole cast is sad Andy is coming back as much as the audience [probably] is. Also, David Wallace I guess is in charge of Dunder Mifflin again (I doubt I was paying attention too hard when that happened), so in 9 years the show just went in a complete circle. I do like Dave Wallace though. Meanwhile Erin did the right thing, even if it is "yet another at-work relationship" for the show, and Pam and Jim give Brian less contrived screen time so they can focus on themselves. If Brian was a boom mike guy for the "mockumentary", why are they following Pam and Jim's lunch date with him? Sounds awkward.... =/

I watch too many prime time comedies. 1600 Penn and Guys with Kids are both funny, Big Bang Theory is hilarious, and How I met your Mother is so awesome. Alao, I started watching Incredible Crew on cartoon network...it's a shame the cast isn't 5 years older, it'd be on par with Saturday Night Live.

Big Bang Theory is mediocre at best for me and I find How I met your mother completely insufferable. I haven't heard of the other two but gathered from your tastes, I know what to avoid. :P

Well forgive me for not wanting to watch the working class. Is it so wrong?

Hey! I'm the only one around here allowed to be an insufferable, arrogant, jerk. Get your own schtick.
; - )(I think)
BTW, I've never seen any of these shows, so I can't comment there. But if D likes them, then I know to avoid them. He DID like Ted and Kung Pow, after all.

Truth. I jumped on the HIMYM (does anyone else pronounce it Him-yim?) back in late 2011, early 2012, and watched it every chance I could get. I even got my bf into it and he tore through all the episodes as well. However it's humor and premise is starting to wear thin.

Well, I do have the benefit of not watching it every week, as well as not watching any of seasons 2-4, so it's pretty fresh.
I have low standards for humor, pardon me for enjoying burp and fart jokes
