Getting Mad Men from Netflix and one disc away from the end of the 1st Season. This show is crazy good. Favorite characters so far are Betty and Joan, although that may change in the coming seasons.

In between Mad Men discs I've been watching Xena, and its just awesome. Such an involving, silly show. And I want Lucy Lawless's pouting, dangerous Xena face on my tombstone when I die.

I really need to give mad men a try. I think I'd dig it. I need a new series after finishing the wire.

I'd take lucy lawless' face somewhere else.

WHO ELSE IS READY FOR THE NEW PAUL REISER SHOW?????

Seriously:

-How many of you had to google that name? Or if you did know him I'm willing to bet it's only because of the wormy guy he played in Aliens.

and

-Who's naked pictures does he have where someone as irrelevant as he is gets a new show?

New House was really good.  Trying to remember the shows Yoda and Star talked about.  And I gotta catch up on other things.  Included an anime into the fray... for the first time in years.

Twin Peaks is now on instant watch, I probably would've liked it when it was on the air but I was 9, so I get a pass.

I did, however, really love Northern Exposure which is not related at all... but sort of niche all the same.

I love Twin Peaks so much. Now I need to watch the opening credits just for the discomforting music.

I watched Reaper before I ever saw Twin Peaks, so it was weird to see Ray Wise in that role. He was probably the best personification of the devil I've ever seen. Obviously, some of the credit must go to the writers, but he was still awesome.

Just watched A Game of Thrones.

It. was. AWESOME! I've never seen an adaptation follow the source material so closely before. It was perfect. I think I'm going really enjoy watching this.

Misc comments:

My boyfriend and I have never seen so many fucking tits. Seriously, naked females galore. To be fair though, there was a nice group of shirtless guys at one point.

I have high hopes for the actors playing Tyrion and Cersei. They are damn good.

Sansa is older looking that what I had pictured in my head, but that may have been my own fault.

CUTE PUPPIES!

I don't have cable and I haven't read the books yet.

So I hope this show lasts and does the series justice so I can read the books, then marathon the DVDs at a later date.

Turned to HBO right when the logo was on screen.  Left it on long enough to see it switch to maybe some people coming up over a hill... and turned away.  Decided I couldn't afford to get into a series that will almost always be on while I'm on a plane (had an earlier flight than usual yesterday).  Especially because people are saying it's amazing.

But I may not be able to resist watching it online...

My boyfriend is pretty taken with the actor who plays Jon Snow. XD

But yeah, HOLY SHIT I loved it. It moves pretty quick, and some minor things were changed, but I seriously loved it.

Also, the title sequence is one of the best I've seen since Rome. It gave me chills.

I'm with you on the opening sequence! I was just, woah! Really intense.

I forgot to mention it, but the actress playing Daenerys was really good as well.

If there was just ONE thing I might be disappointed it, it would be that Tyrion in the show is not as disfigured as Tyrion in the books - but that's fine.

You bastards and your Game of Thrones watching. I hate you. All right, maybe I don't hate YOU in particular, but I definitely hate SOMEbody! I refuse to buy into HBO just to view one show. Plus, I prefer to watch things on my own terms. Guess I'll just have to wait for dvd/Blu. Ugh.

I am currently enjoying season 4 of Doctor Who. The last episode I watched was The Doctor's Daughter. I liked it a lot, minus a few quibbles. I'm not looking forward to Tennant-less Dr. Who.
