I want to look like King Robert when I grow up
Game of Thrones is another in a line of shows on HBO where they "whore" awesomely.
First there was Sopranos where they'd say "whoor"
In GoT they have a nice guttural bellow with it.

Caught the new Ultimate Spider Man cartoon while getting ready for work this morninv (actually still catching it as I write this). Pretty funny, for a kids cartoon. If you're a spider fan, check it out.
Am I the only adult male here actually watching kids cartoons still?

Game of Thrones Season 2 Premiere
Pretty much what I expected from Game of Thrones, which is excellence. Good episode, but not a ton happens; more like a status update on everyone from last season to now, as well show how relationships between characters have changed. Tyrion is still awesome, and has some really great lines. Surprisingly, my favorite scene was actually with Cersei and Littlefinger:
Code:
Littlefinger: Knowledge is power, dumbbutt.
Cersei: lol no. Power is power, assface.

Has anyone watched the newest spartacus season? I loved the 1st one and then the prequel season, but since they took it off netflix I haven't seen the newest.
It's been a few years since I've seen the end of the original season but:

how do they explain the fact that pretty much all of the main characters were slaughtered at end of season 1?

So happy it's back. I'm kind of glad they really cut down a lot the stuff that happens on Stannis' island, I don't think I could take too much of that maester droaning on.

GoT here as well. Not too much going on but a great lead in for the season. I also started the original BSG on Netflix since I've never actually watched it before. It's really great though:) It's fun to compare the two and see where certain ideas came from for the re-vamp series.

I hope they do the new series because it looks nerd-space-boner inducing.

Nope, I've been watching Transformers Prime, Thundercats, and Young Justice, which are all fucking excellent.
The new Spider Man is nice, but I'm still a bit bitter they cancelled Spectacular Spider Man in order to produce it, as Spectacular was fucking AWESOME.

Yeah, spectaculat spider man was awesome, especially since spider man was voiced by josh leaton, aka Major Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid 3. Ultimate is pretty cool though, definitely feels a bit more comic book like with all the monologue-ing. I look forward to more episodes.
Since you brought them up, I love young justice and thundercats, though I FUCKING HATE WITH ALL MY HATE GENERATING PARTS the new timeslot they were put in, which is saturday mornings. I am pleased they were renewed, and hope cartoon network keeps them going for a good while.
I know it has been brought up at some point here, but if you all are not watching adventure time, you are all going straight to hell. That show is fucking astounding, in every aspect and every idea. The only other cartoon I adored as much was Chowder, which is being brought back to cartoon networks rerun block...I mean cartoon planet. Reruns are better than nothing.

Yeah, I heard about that but this is the first time I've watched the trailer. It does look bad-ass for sure. I hope we can see this in some form really soon. I can't get enough BSG:D

I watched the first two eps. Didn't like it at all. I can't believe Paul Dini is writing it.
Much prefer the current Avengers cartoon. I also agree that Transformers Prime and Thundercats are enjoyable.

Anyone else watching Mad Men this season? It's about three episodes in (four if you split up the two hour premiere that combined the first two episodes) and so far its very Mad Men-y. I'm surprised by how little attention they've paid to Don in the first few episodes; the focus seems to be on the majority of the cast. I can kinda see why, I thought last season was very Don-heavy, so I guess they wanted to give the other characters some time. Also, Peggy's sense of humor has made almost every scene with her a highlight. She's easily one of my favs.
