Futurama Episodes 11 & 12: Double Feature Duo. The first episode was okay, having Captain Piccard hunting Bender down in a fox hunt was pretty amusing. The fox losing half it's face Terminator style was a pretty clever joke as well as the various classic sci-fi uniforms/outfits (I want to say that the white jumpsuit one Amy was wearing was from Space Mutiny but that would almost be too funny). The second though was a great episode and easily on par with those old Tales of Interest episodes. Having various characters as Salmon, Galapagos Island Turtles/Birds/Lizards, and Walruses being both edutaining and liberal with their deaths.

Doctor Who: Asylum of the Daleks - Amy is a model? Ugh. I've always liked how the show has never played up her gorgeousness, so this just seemed really odd.
Damn, that Jenna Louse Coleman is a hotty! I look forward to her as the companion.
The episode was fun and quirky, like Who almost always is. The twist in the end was perfect, and I totally didn't see it coming.
Next week: Dinosaurs on a Spaceship! Oh, yeah!

You should watch it. It's better than crunchroll or whatever that anime stuff is.

Nor am I. My younger brother loves the hell out of the show and keeps trying to get me to watch it. I'm so sick of the whole drug thing, though. I have no interest in watching a show about drugs, no matter how good it is. I'm sure there's much more to it, but that's the basis, right?

It's about a guy with cancer doing what he can for his family before he dies.

Yeah that's it. Don't watch it. There's not any excellent character development, story arc development, emotional investment, excellent cinematography/photography, etc. It sucks
Also, never give the wire a shot. That show is terrible because it's about drugs and brown people.

I seriously had the same thoughts before I was convinced by my friends to watch it. I didn't really have any interest in any show based around drugs and the trade around them, but after I started Breaking Bad, I fell in love. Like Star says, it's more about a man with cancer trying to help out his family while he can. It's absolutely one of the best shows I've ever seen and (IMO) the best show being done right now, on ANY channel.

I'll check myself here. Life on Mars didn't seem like my kind of show either, but I ended up liking it quite a bit. The whole 70's thing is a turn off for me. It was good because of great writing and characters.
I also only allow myself to watch one or two TV shows at a time. Because of this, I am specific about what I watch.
Doctor Who just started back up, So there's that.
Next month both The Walking Dead and American Horror Story come back. TWD certainly has issues, but we both like it enough to keep watching.
My wife is bugging me about starting up Being Human. It's going to have to wait, though, because there will already be too much on the roster.
I think it's obvious I prefer the more fantastical over the realistic. Same goes with games and books. Doesn't mean I'm not willing to give something else a shot. It's just not a priority.
I can't be the only one who has a bias towards certain types of shows. It's like people who like jrpgs and nothing else. It baffles me, but if that's what works for them, then so be it.

American Horror Story, yayyy!
I hope season 2 lives up to the first.
I honestly don't know how they can make it just as good.
