You're just being cryptic again. It's like soap opera sex. Lots of boring dialogue and when they finally do go to bed, everything's dark and covered by blankets.

American Horror Story, yayyy!

I hope season 2 lives up to the first.

I honestly don't know how they can make it just as good.
Yeah, we're both excited. The whole "asylum" thing is intriguing. I'm a tad confused about the returning actors, though. Are they playing the same or different roles? Supposedly, Jessica Langes character(Constance?) runs the Asylum or something. Should be fun.

Same actors different characters would be good, I love that kind of thing.

From what I hear, that's exactly what they're doing. The promos they've been showing have been awesome.

My superficial side is a tad disappointed that there's no hawt men this season (Mr. Levine is marginal), but for you lady-lovers, Chloe Sevigny is certainly showing some skin.

Here are two promos I really enjoyed:

Gaki no Tsukai no laughing Newspaper Agency Batsu.  I loved the tension when they discovered the buttons and deciding whether they should push them or not.  Probably my second favorite batsu game I think.  I love how Yamasaki acts in these things.

Ending of Breaking Bad:

Just watched it, and I totes agree.

What did you think of the final reveal? Some people have been saying it was out of character, but me and a bud who have been both watching think it fits. Either way, next summer cannot come any sooner!

I found it amazing that he totally grabbed the case breaker while looking for toilet-reading material.

Doctor Who episode tonight thoughts:

Quote
I didn't like it much. The plot was very predictable and melodramatic. The setting...well, a grab at an American audience for sure. But I think Americans themselves will be sick of the spaghetti western setting and won't find it to impressive (and the accents somewhat insulting, probably).

The Doctor is getting a bit, hmmm, darker. I wonder if this is related to an old episode where it was said the Doctor would change after his 11th regeneration.

Rory was mostly pointless this episode. Amy was the voice of morality towards the end, but still, mostly useless.

Last weeks episode was better in just about every way.

Eh I dunno, I sort of liked the new episode.

Quote
I actually found myself enjoying the episode. I liked the episode a lot more than Dinosaurs on a Spaceship which I just found to be gimicky. I liked the Gunslinger, I liked that alien doctor, and I liked the setting. The accents didn't bother me for whatever reason. If I had any complaints it would be that the Doctor seemed to get whiplash from how quickly he changed his opinion on how to handle the situation and then back again. Didn't mind the initial change, but the change back seemed too quick and complete.

As for the darkness, you are thinking of the Valeyard who is a distillation of all the Doctor's evil and darkness created somewhere between his 11th and 12th regenerations. Basically I view him as the Dream Lord freed from the Doctor but still lacking a physical form. Personally I think there is a high chance that the Valeyard will be connected to the Silence storyline and more specifically the prophecy of the fall of the 11th. Not sure when they are planning on wrapping that arc up though, so the darkening of tone may or may not be related to that.

Oh, are they finally available for home viewing? I need to get on that. I liked the first series, if you can even call it that.

Yay!!  Downton Abbey is back!  Maggie Smith pulls some one-liners and we all win/
Love this show. :D  I'll spare the details given 90% of this forum is male.  But a good Brit-drama nonetheless.

Watched first ep of Veep after Julie Dreyfus one the award last night.  I really dug it, I'm keeping on with it.

First episode back with The Office was alright too; which is good, last season was a disaster, so hopefully this wasn't a first episode "beginner's luck" for the season.
