Edit: New page so just warning that these are Game of Thrones book and show spoilers

Spoilers for both.
Code:
Are you talking about replacing Robb's head with Greywind's? Nope. The deaths occurred literally in the final 10 minutes, but seeing as there is one episode left, they could still do that next week (along with Catelyn floating in the river).

Code:
Thanks. Yeah, that is what I meant. Hopefully they do add it. My friends only watch the series and I have been waiting for the show to get to the red wedding ever since the Ned incident in season one. I am a horrible friend who enjoys watching their reactions as their favourite characters die.

My face was in utter horror when it happened, but watching it the second time and watching someone's reactions gave me a big ass grin.

I can't wait to see it. The events you all describe came off as kind of anti-climactic in the book.

Though I thought that...

they made a big deal of noting how the musicians couldn't play their instruments and I was like ..."hmmmm!"

I can't wait to see this season because of Sandor and Arya just explorin

Yeah, they didn't do that on the show. But as someone said, things were just TOO happy just before the bloodbath, and that should have been a big fat clue right there.

A fun twitter if you're way too into seeing people's reactions: @RedWeddingTears.

It probably has not been the first time and I doubt it will be the last before the series is finished. Then again my friends are probably going to love my reaction when/if

Latest book spoiler
Code:
The true king of westeros Stannis Baraethon kicks the bucket. Stupid ambigious ending. Obviously Stannis chances of surviving the series is miniscule but I can still hope. Because hope overcomes everything in a song of ice and fire.

As my friend pointed out, the last two episode 9s have had serious shit go down.
I was expecting......something - but *not* that.
That was just......awful.

And the first season too, that was when

Code:
Ned lost his head.

I do like that they're ending each season in this fashion, in that you get to see the aftermath of the events the following week. Almost any other show would leave this until the final episode and end on an enormous cliffhanger.

oh snap...that was the season finale?

Good way to end it, definitely.

I also hope we see more fantasy stuff in the future since we finally have somewhat decent TV CG (and pretty good film CG).

I've honestly been half asleep these last few days and working on two papers and studying a midterm.... Game of Thrones' episode count was honestly the last thing on my mind. x)

No. That's next week. GoT always runs ten episodes, with Ep 9 being the one where Shit Goes Down and the finale being a sort-of aftermath. Which is why I suspect certain things will be seen next week that people expected last night.

So many people saying they will never watch the show again.

*eye roll*

In a series where a key character died in season one, Robb broke a hell of a vow, the entire Stark family is scattered all over Westeros, the entire kingdom is going to shit and oh yeah, there's a temperamental Targaryen headed its way with three dragons and a bunch of soldiers, did people expect this series to have happy endings anytime soon? LOL.

^ On that last sentence (er, or two, because of the "LOL."), I consider GoT a show about "small victories" and appreciating those when they happen.

And yay one more episode!

Just finished watching the season 3 premiere of Falling Skies. SO happy that they're finally doing a season that isn't all about getting from point A to point B. Some of the side characters are still more interesting than the main characters, but I'm hoping they'll continue fleshing out the full cast this season.
