SF; Assassin's Fist was actually pretty good, not campy and not overly serious either. I hope the guy continues to make more, maybe flesh out some of the backgrounds of the other characters. Mainly just watching Fargo and waiting for new season of Falling Skies. There's been a lot of really good TV shows these past few years, I love Blacklist and Arrow was surprisingly good.

Finally finished Season 3 of Game of Thrones, and watched ep 1 of season 4 last night. It's weird not having to wait for the Blu release. Free HBO for the win.

I also started season 3 of Breaking Bad. Not impressed with the first two episodes. Seems like it's heading into a not so good direction. Still good, but with some really strange things happening that just make no sense.

Fargo

Oh my fucking Jesus.... Our villains are absolute monsters.
I'm so sad there's just one episode left [this season?].  This show hasn't skipped a beat, and has had really consistent quality to shock and awe (with moment of black comedy and serious suspense building in between).

Veep

And another season down for what is probably my favourite political show.  Kudos to Armando Iannucci for creating a premise around the less important role of being Vice President and really making it fun...and probably semi-realistic at times.

The conclusion to S3 opens up a lot of ideas for Season 4.... but I can't imagine things going well or staying the way they are.

I have full intention of doing so, as I hear 4 and 5 are fantastic TV.

I just watched ep 4, and MAN this season sucks. What the hell have they done with Walter? And with Skyler? It's all just so...bizarre. Kind of like Falling Down, the TV series, except not good.
It really feels like they had no clue where to go after season 3. It's a mess.

GoT is over for another year:(.  I'm just going to break down and read the books. I can't wait that long. Just like to add that I wish The Sword of Truth would get the HBO treatment. It would be just as good.

The books are great! Are you going to start from GoT or start after Season 4 (which would mean your starting with A Feast For Crows).

I read the second book, bought the third book while I was in Canada....and forgot it when I went overseas.
D'oh!

I'm going to re-read the second book and then move on with the series in the fall.

So after binging on Orange is the New Black, which was fantastic, I'm starting Louis.

Kind of depressing but real

I've wanted to get to Louis, kinda skeptical right now though given that I've heard it is kinda depressing... How so?

And yeah, new season of Orange is the New Black was excellent.  The show always strikes a great balance between shit prison, great chuckles, and some legitimate feels.  I love that the show has you rooting for convicts and officers alike.

I think the things I like about Louis are:
Gives perspective on aging
Has a healthy dose of his excellent standup
Is like Curb Your Enthusiasm but less nonsensical conflict
Has good NYC flavor
Great music

You can tell he had total control over the show

At this point, the GoT show has diverged from the books quite a bit, they might want to just make the show its own thing from now on.

I suspect that's to give people a reason to continue reading the books since the show will probably finish up first.

God that was a great show.

Orphan Black and Continuum end their seasons tonight. :(
