You're just being cryptic again. It's like soap opera sex. Lots of boring dialogue and when they finally do go to bed, everything's dark and covered by blankets.

I have the Xbox360, not the PS3 so I'll be getting that version. I never did play the original Demon's Souls. Looking forward to trying the spiritual sucessor of a game that got so much buzz!

Gonna be PS3 for me too. BRING IT.

I may get the XBox version, but it'd have to be fun to play offline. Did anyone play Demon's Souls offline? In the reviews I read it didn't seem like it was too fun without other people.

The best features of the game comes with playing it online. Is the half of the experience actually.

The problem is that my XBox isn't connected to the internet and I don't want to pay to put it online. I'm cheap like that. Worst come to worst I just do what I did with Demon's Souls: don't play it.

You miss a lot of the atmosphere of Demon's Souls if you play Online, at least in my opinion.  Latria isn't nearly as terrifying when you've the clear Phantoms running about and messages on the ground.  Same goes with 4-X and 5-X.  Atmosphere is a big deal; I would definitely say it's worth a completely offline playthrough.

Though, as they say, Online is fun, interesting and not something to ignore, even for gamers who hate Online games entirely.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about playing the game with the 360 controller.  The bumpers don't seem like they're work so well in a game like Dark Souls, but maybe it's simply because I'm not used to faster-paced games on that console.

It ENHANCES the experience, but he's seriously overstating how essential it is. Half the fun describes something like Diablo or Borderlands where half the fun is playing with your friends, here it's more like an already great game spiced up a bit more with the online functionality. There ARE certain key aspects, namely invading/helping other players, but you can pretty much ignore that by playing mainly in soul mode anyway.

Also, PS3 here.

PS3 for me obviously since I own Demon's Souls.  I want them both on the same console.  They will look epic and pretty standing next to each other on my PS3 shelf :)
