Good news.
Jolly good about the dlc, but here's some bad news.
Anyone who clicked on your link should do a prompt virus scan.

Yeah I don't know what's up with Siliconera lately. I got a virus warning on there a week or two ago, but nothing was ever found when I scanned (maybe was already blocked).

Hmm, my apologies. I've never had issues with Siliconera before. Maybe one of their ads is bad?

"From Software plans on re-releasing Dark Souls with the upcoming Artorias of the Abyss downloadable content as Dark Souls with Artorias of the Abyss Edition. This bundle, which is essentially Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for Japan, will be available on PC and PlayStation 3.
Early purchasers will snap up a couple of bonus items with their game – a 70 page strategy guide that explains how to start Dark Souls and goes all the way up to the Gargoyle (this is based on the original Dark Souls guide with updated stats), an overworld map, soundtrack CD (the same one Japan got in September), and a sleeve to hold all of the items."

I assume because they use questionable advertisers that probably utilize malware. Their site does take real long to load at times.

A bit late, but the Dark Souls design works has been out for a few months now in Japan.
I received my copy today - it's hardcover, 125 pages, with about 120 of them being art. It's relatively inexpensive for an import (I was able to get it for $30 + $10 shipping), so if you enjoy the game, it's probably worth it. Much, much better than the crap artbook found with the (North American) LE.

Isn't someone localizing it?

Not that I'm aware of. At least - not yet. I'd say there's probably a good chance of localization, given the popularity of the game. Really, though, there's no need for it because there's so little text (a few names of weapons and armor here and there, NPC names). All that really needs translating are the 4 pages of interview.
There's a lot less text than the average artbook.

Iron Flesh is fucked and I think pyromancy was nerfed, so that's kind of fucked as advice now.
