The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.

every time i try to play tales of vesperia with an hour i start to feel sleepy. so i ask this. is it really that boring or is something other than the gameplay causing it to bore me to sleep? maybe a certain pattern of colors? or maybe just the fact that non of the characters really click with me?

I guess it's just you and whoever else that doesn't click with the series.  I'm sure those who haven't played (and wanted to) will take comfort in that though.

I personally loved it.  But hey, this is coming from someone who finds LBP an "okay" titles.

How can you only judge the characters after one hour?  Do you really think you're giving them a fair chance? Especially considering the first hour of Vesperia is simply you getting arrested.

Baaah.... I never got the hang of that game - but I was way younger at the time.

If you got through the first 5hours of Abyss (probably the worst part of it for some reason) then Vesperia should be fine.  The dungeons are nowhere near as tedious as Symphonia was either.

LBP = Little Big Planet

If you don't like the characters, besides the battle system. I can very easily see some people getting bored  with it. The soundtrack does not help matters either, its not bad just bland. I had blast with it but I also liked Yuri, Rita, Raven,Judith and their interaction with each other.

I'm about 16 hours in. Like Chronix I'm really enjoying the characters you get later on. There's a couple of stand-outs.

Estelle reminded me too much of Shirley from Legendia and that is not a good thing. I also did not like Karol at all. One of the most annoying child characters ever.

Lol, amazing how time can change someone's opinion of a character.The past me  gave a somewhat favorable opinion of Estelle. I guess the bad Ai memories won out in the end :P

I was overwhelmed with a feeling of deja vu when I went to type that playing games in HD made me sleepy. I see why now, Past Me has already beaten me to the punch.

He's always one step ahead. Or behind. I'm not sure.

Whenever I feel like that about a game I should like, I ask myself if I'm having a small bout of game burnout.  That's when I take a hiatus/sabbatical from gaming and hopefully return with fresher state of mind.

Basically, sometimes the fault lies not with the game, but the gamer.
