On the flipside there might just be a specific kind of game you'll want to play, and you don't really know what that is. I've been feeling bored at times, but then something like Ys comes along and I'm fully immersed.

Nevertheless stepping back until something you really want comes out isn't a bad idea!

Whenever I feel like that about a game I should like, I ask myself if I'm having a small bout of game burnout.  That's when I take a hiatus/sabbatical from gaming and hopefully return with fresher state of mind.

Basically, sometimes the fault lies not with the game, but the gamer.

This is true, but...

Didn't you make a thread like this before? o_O

7 months or so later and it's still no use. Gotta know when a game is not for you.

Fair enough.  I was mostly attempting to steer the thread in a more robust direction than mere whine-fest over trifles.

Tales of Vesperia is one of the few 7th Gen titles that I really enjoyed. I don't see what the problem with it is. I found it very entertaining throughout my playthrough. I'm also entertained attempting to go for 1000 gamerscore.

Oh, and just sayin', LittleBigPlanet was another one of those few 7th gen games which I really enjoyed. Will I be in trouble for heavily enjoying both?
