Does anyone here use a kindle or any similar product?

I'm thinking of doing one of these in the future (can't beat the one that has free 3G) mainly because I'm sick of having a collection of books just sitting around.

I've got tons of books stacked on all sorts of shelves. Sure it's great to hold a book in your hand but the clutter is annoying (I'm sort of a neat freak).

Plus, if you spend 5-10 bux for a digital copy of something I'm sure you're more apt to read it. The useless book syndrome, thinking a book looks interesting so you buy it but forget about it, will never happen.

This needs to start happening for all kinds of books. Xenogears Perfect Works being an obvious choice.

Okay, I'm waaaay late on this but:

I do own a Kindle. If book clutter is your problem then it probably is worth getting one. The reading experience itself isn't altered much- the cover you get with the Kindle gives the device a definite "book-like" feel. When you get into a story, you're unlikely to notice or care that you're using an electronic device. Obviously, there's no glare but that's what's great about e-ink technology. :)
