The Good: One midterm was postponed til after my reading week

The Bad: Instead of working 1-5 tomorrow like I was supposed to, I have to work 8-430.

The Ugly: Still have a test Monday morning.

I've gotta say, awesome topic format.  Me likey.

Good: Finally got the determination to learn guitar even though I've had one for years.  I feel accomplished if I get in at least 10-15 minutes a day, but I usually go closer to an hour.

Bad: Trying to get up earlier on a more consistent basis.  It's getting easier, but still difficult.

Ugly: Won't have a job at least until Mid-May, so I'm going to have to reevaluate what's really "essential" which means less money for fun. BLARGH

My thoughts exactly when I used to visit my uncle's kampong as a child. :P

Although, admittedly, the toilet styles don't bother me as much (most bathrooms in state schools use that kind).

Yeah, I agree actually. They're not so bad, especially if they have some sort of flush mechanism. Seems like here though, with the bucket flush and left hand wipe, the floor is constantly wet, making it easy to get your pants wet with toilet water. But they say there are all sorts of health benefits to the squatty...

Yeah, girls do. It isn't really that big of a deal; I didn't realize it was 'uncomfortable' until I came abroad. As long as the bathrooms were kept clean it never bothered me. That link about the health benefits of squatting toilets was interesting. Makes me think twice about future bathroom designs, at any rate.
