Also the "time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana" is a lot funnier if both instance of flies are taken as verbs.

A rather bizarre trend of some of the Adult Swim shows. No way in hell Aqua Teen Hunger Force strained any sort of budget. |

Does anyone even watch [as] anymore. The quality of their shows has dropped a lot. It's pretty God damn sad when an episode of Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama (when they had it), or King of the Hill that I saw 10 times is more appealing than an [as] original show. And yes, I stopped like Robot Chicken after the first six episodes.

My favorite AS original shows are like Moral Orel and Super Jail. Moral Orel because it eventually stopped being so LOL WACKY CHRISTIANS and turned into a black-comedy character study of a bunch of terminally depressed people turning to a bastardized form of Christianity and really sort of hit disturbingly close to home in a lot of ways.
Superjail because it's just the best fucking animated thing that wasn't made by Soviets, also it's basically an animated Hitmen for Destiny which is like my second favorite webcomic after Pokey the Penguin*.
Weird irony? I stopped liking ATHF when it started getting really violent. Mostly because it sort of got really... squickish about it. Superjail was really violent but in a super-whimsical manner, and everyone got better after every episode anyway. Also it was really uncreative. It was just like LET'S PUT CARL IN A MEAT GRINDER!!! ROOM FULL OF ORGANS!!!!! Superjail really put a lot of effort into the death scenes. It was like a Riven of blood.
Basically you can compare it to dead baby jokes.
"How do you make a dead baby float? Take your foot off its head." <- ATHF.
"How do you make a dead baby float? Your favorite soda and two scoops of dead baby." <- Superjail.
"How do you make a dead baby float? (float)dead_baby" <- Rinkworks.
* I am also the 12oz fanbase but let us not discuss that.
