Not the worst, but I'm throwing Persona 3 for being extraordinarily over-rated.
And again, not the worst, but sometimes I wanna lump the Kingdom Hearts series for shitty plot.  Certainly the most pretentious.

Interesting...but I am actually referring to the Gamespot forums back in 2007.Every fucking day fanboys and trolls would add more and more crappy threads into the landfill and clog up the site.Then I was banned for trolling(ironically) and never looked back.Returned to my favorite site 1up then.I always knew RPGFan existed but I was never a member until recently.

Anyway...

Some of you guys are mentioning overrated RPGs but honestly the RPG junkers I played were broken beyond hope.The worst RPGs I have played redefine the word "catastrophic"

Neeein.  I still hit up Gamefaqs/spot.  Usually if I need help in a game, but I also find it's that same fanatics that leads to them posting information on stuff first.  But yeah - I've had a fair share of arguments with retards on there.  But at the same time, I like helping some players too. :)

I personally hate how "disjointed" the games feel, there's no real sense of flow to the titles besides "go here, pick up a friend, don't go there, you'll get your ass handed, then go here".  All too often I walk a screen or two of from where I need to be and so enemy kicks my ass dead.  The battle system feels pretty hack as well.  I did love SaFa Frontier 2, loved the old-world approach, and the "up-close" 2D battles (they looked amazing, even amidst an generally pretty looking title).
SaGa 1 on the other hand, took a whole bunch of cool ideas and lumped them in a garbage heap story.  Robots.  Vampires.  Prisoners.  Space travel.  Super armor.  Magical worlds.  And that's just talking about prologues.

"Worst RPG" I find denotes more than what Dragoon legitimately did - but yeah, I didn't care for it.
The fact it had it's own menu music was hilarious though (shame it was a tune no better than elevator music)
