That was probably me. I actually liked unlimited saga a lot. It's not like, my FAVORITE* saga game, but I mostly liked it a lot more than the SNES ones and SGF2. The original RS games were sort of really glitchy in a lot of ways (quests not firing properly being a big one I kept encountering with RS3), whereas I found SGF2 way more obtuse than people purported US to be (read: US crafting involved gluing more iron to your sword. SGF2 crafting involved something really, really strange with shards that I never understood. Also the skill system where de-equipping someone's skill let you give it to everyone..? WTF was with that?).

* That would be SaGa Frontier 1 or FFL2, although I think the RS remake is the best-made saga game by a long shot.

Hey I think I'll just list every RPG I genuinely disliked then maybe highlight the ones I specifically hated.

I shit you not, I find that game awful. I'd rather play FFT:Advanced on the GBA over it.

- The flow of the story is horrible since you get very little between each fight and then a giant bitchslap of it at the end of a chapter.
- Overly long game. Some battles or story bits could have been filler episode if this was a TV show.
- The difficulty of the game is completely unbalanced. I was having a really hard time winning a random encounter at the beginning. Later, a friend told me about the 100 valor, 0 fate, monk counter + camouflage combo... and I was never hit for the rest of the whole game fighting solo.
- Turns are soooooo slow (okay, a lot of tactic games have that problem, but still worth noting)
- The most retarded cast of secret characters I have ever seen.
- No way to foresee how to get said special characters without a guide.

- Has fucking elves.
- You can grind for shit like money and hearts.
- Has some fucking bullshit about a princess. Y'all like princesses, right?
- Craps out completely in the second half.

Reasons why Wind Waker is an RPG:
- You can have sex with a boat.

Anyone  that complains about Legend of Dragoon's battle system most likely sucked at it. More turn-based RPGs need interactive battle systems like LoD (or Mario RPGs or Shadow Hearts, for instance). I had a blast with LoD despite its faults, but I don't think the battle system was one of them.

Worst RPG for me: Lunar Dragon Song. I gave it an hour and just couldn't force myself to go any farther.

If you ignore the basic classifications, every game should be considered a role playing game, as you assume the role of a character that isn't yourself.

Hence my new vote for worst RPG is Call of Duty Black Ops.

I really haven't played too many RPGs that I think are terrible but those are the only ones I can think of.

Yeah the rocket propelled grenades in Black Ops were awful.

Haven't bought/rented very many shitty RPGs. I've probably touched most of them by way of E3 demos, too many to list. Though FFXII was pretty disappointing.
