Worst RPGS

Come on, based on what you describe they are not really faults of the games but just quirks that somehow annoy you.  I think in this day and age, a quality jrpg like LoD hasn't come for a long time.  LoD had genuinely interesting plot, they have a second set of characters which have their own epic story (sony make a prequel please...), the battle system is unique at the time, and it's just a fun game.

I knew I was going to be hated on now,lol.  I don't consider it one of the worst ever made, I just think with over 100 people working on it, it could have been a tad better.  I'm planning on playing through it again soon so maybe my views on it will change.  My thoughts on the soundtrack will most likely stay the same.

I'm not being sarcastic about that lol.  There were articles in magazines and people on GameFAQ's back when this was coming out stating that LoD is the FFVII killer, it made no sense then and makes no sense today.

Umm I didn't mean LoD I meant the person that said FFVII is the worst RPG ever, and I truly hope he/she was being sarcastic because this whole "it's cool to hate on FFVII since it's what started the FF series becoming mainstream!!11" is just plain retarded. Anyone with half a brain whose played the game could see that while FFVII isn't the BEST GAME EVAR!!!! It sure isn't a bad one, and farrr from the WORST ONE EVAR too. It's a pretty good game, not bad at all, but not SUPER SPESHUL AMAZING.

So haters please stop hating on it just to be cool.

Plot - no.
Battle system - definitely no.

plot: debatable, i am not going there
battle system: why not? I like a bit twitch based gameplay in rpg, make it more action oriented, yah i know it gets old near the end
fun game: fun is subjective, it was for me

bottomline, if sony make a sequel or prequel it's a day one purchase for me, too bad I don't think they will tap back into this franchise after the disappointment that it wasn't the "FF killer"

Anyways, yeah I can't stand that it's cool to hate FFVII attitude going on, the game was not the best but it was a genuinely good game with alot of interesting concepts explored pretty well.
