I have a feeling after tonight's Blackhawks game I'll want to kill something. So I'll be playing Dead Space

My chances of playing Call of Duty or whatever FPS exponentially increase after Calgary loses.

I better stock up on games for when our season ends. I expect it to be soon.

In MW2? You can do them solo, too. But they're... a lot harder a pain in the ass solo on veteran/three stars. Invite someone over and do split screen. :P

Yeah I'm not even attempting it unless I know I'm getting 3 stars. So I need a buddy.

My edit came too late. Yeah my friend did a bunch solo and I don't know how she does it. I helped her do some, but I can't even do the racing ones for three stars.

My least favourite are the ops with DOGS. I hate dogs.

Been playing Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright -- Trials & Tribulations; on the last episode. Godot is a slick man, and

Code:
it's awesome being able to play as Miles Edgeworth as a defense attorney.

Also been playing the PSN version of Suikoden.

Picked up Star Wars: Galactic Battle grounds for the PC in a charity shop! :D

I loved this RTS when I was younger - I wonder how it holds up

Goose, did you ever play Homeworld?

I still have dreams about the awesome space wars I had in that game.

Also, some of the mods for that were awesome, especially the star trek universe one. they did the scale of the ships and how powerful they would be quite wells.

How difficult would you guys rate dead space? I'm playing through on medium, trying to only use the plasma cutter to get a lame achievement :)

I played on medium for a while, then switched to casual because I'm a wuss. I've actually read that the game is pretty easy on medium due to the abundance of ammo. I would agree with this, as you are constantly getting restocked. My problem is more to do with slow reaction times. I love games like this, but mostly suck at them because I suck at aiming without a "lock on" feature. Hence the casual setting. I'm sure you'll do just fine on medium. You might even want to crank it up if you consider yourself good at these kinds of games.

One more Pokemon till my team is done and I'm ready to start battling. Anyone here still rocking Pokemon? I'd love to battle.

Yeah, still playing.  Haven't finished yet though (on last gym) because I keep getting sidetracked and EV training/breeding random pokemon i like.  I just need to finish the E4 so I can test IVs faster by talking to some guy in central city (or whatever the town is called).

I'm decent enough I guess. Fortunately there's plenty of saves so that helps.

Using just the main gun seems ok because you can sell all the other ammo for $$$. But the small swarmy Flood type guys are hard to take out w/ the plasma gun.

Dead Space is incredibly fun. Sure I'd like more responsive turning and aiming, but it sort of works for the game. It's not some commando ninja, but an engineer wearing a heavy damn suit

So I must be crazy but I decided it would be a good idea to play through the Legend of Heroes games (the Gagharv trilogy). I started with The Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch, since this is apparently the first game, even though it is called LOH II in the US. Anyway, having heard only bad things about these games, I'm kinda confused. Sure, I'm only 3 hours in, but I really don't see what's so terrible about it. It's rather generic and uninspired, but I'm actually having fun. The translation is not all that bad, either.

Also still playing Hyperdimension Neptunia. It's fun, mostly.

Since I screwed up the good ending in Suikoden 2, I went and borrowed Suikoden 1 so that I can restart Suikoden 2 with a Suikoden 1 final save.
I literally needed to beg and trade my left and right nuts for borrowing these. Then again, I'd expect the same if anyone ever told me they want to borrow my Valkyrie Profile.
