Oh, I shot darrow at point blank and didn't get EXP, hmmmm

I suppose that he was going to give you EXP, but then he took an arrow to the knee.

This is true, really I just wanted to fling him through the window which didn't work.

I put 417 hours on FF tactics on the PS1 when it came out.

I just got Tactics Ogre. I think I found what I was searching for. Complex, addictive, customizable... It has it all and it's on the go. I'm 11 hours in after having it about 3 days.

It's not an official FF game so, no summons? The summons in FF Tactics rocked. Anyway this'll easily keep my eyes off random titles until something really great comes along. Real happy with this one, it even makes me like
JRPGs a bit more (I'm mainly a WRPG gamer).

Taking some time off from console gaming and racking up some IP in League of Legends.

Yeah, no summons.  Tons of other classes though.  It's pretty nice to level classes instead of units.  Makes things easier when one class isn't working out and you want to switch to something you already have.  Thankfully wandering around the world map into random battles is a great and easy way to level up units fast.

60 hours in and I'm still loving Amalur. Tons of fun. Respecing is easy and really adds something to the game, picking exactly how you want you character.

Tons of fun, what a game is supposed to be. It's not for everyone but man I'm glad I picked this up. I hope they do another single player after their MMO they want to do.

Holy shat.

Took a break today after playing for like 4 days MGS2 and been checking out again this videos about Silent Hill called "The real Silent Hill Experience" on YouTube. The guys that made those videos received a letter from Jeremy Blaustein (the Translator, Motion Capture and English VO Director for Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4), and in the last part of that letter says where Hiroyuki Owaku (who worked on the original Silent Hill through Silent Hill 3 with different roles in each title, one of those roles being the scenario writer of "Born from a Wish" scenario for Silent Hill 2 and all of the scenario for Silent Hill 3); "He is well but [he's] being ill-used by Konami in my personal opinion on girl-game oriented phone apps."

So that's great. The guy that wrote the scenario for one of my favorite video games is doing girly apps for phones... this kinda reminds of when I read that the first games that Shinji Mikami worked on was stuff from Disney on the 90's, like Aladdin for the SNES.

The more you know and stuff.

Mass Effect 3 - I really need to get a move on in this game. I've been spending far too much time doing sidequests. Especially going back and forth to the Citadel.
There's been a serious lack of relationship action.
Code:
I put the moves on Traynor when she came up to the cabin to play games, but she told me that she was batting for the other team! Not cool. She's really the only gal I wanted to get some action out of.
Shepard needs to relieve some stress, ya know? I hooked up with Liara in ME1, and Miranda in ME2. I suppose I could go after Allers, but she's just so annoying. Maybe Ashley will be game.
Anyway, I think I need to go do something with the Quarians next. I lose track of the main quest stuff when doing everything else.

Beat the second map in Ogre Battle. This is an interesting game -- I noticed you get special conversations if you go into certain fights with certain characters. Also the game punishes you for powerlevelling. The exploration side-stuff is a great touch.

Still don't feel like I have a good handle on the strategy aspect of it though. I mean, deploying octopi to the ocean areas is an obvious thing to do, but like, different unit strengths v other units and what not.

Kind of reminds me of Gemfire for some reason.

Really love to pick up a copy of Tactics Ogre and OB64 now. TO is like 70 dollars at the store I saw it though.

(The presentation of the map and mood of this game totes makes me want to play Legend of Mana and SaGa Frontier 2 again).

Final Fantasy IX:  wth.  Why is it between Dali and heading to Brumecia (the two points you walk around the world map) the difficulty in normal battles freaking sky rockets?????? :O
I got Quina, trying to get her some Blue Magic (hooly crap, Might Guard is available so early!!!), and doing Chocoglyphs.  Stupid addictive hot-cold game.

Thanks. Kinda wish they had summons but, the game is so deep with so many options I guess I won't miss em that much. I'm now 21 hours in and feel like I'm just getting started and still getting used to all the variety in abilities, skills and gear. Over the last year of playing countless games to "catch up" from a gaming absence of around 4 years this must be in the Top 5. Loving it.

Really love to pick up a copy of Tactics Ogre and OB64 now. TO is like 70 dollars at the store I saw it though.

If you like SRPGs, Tactics Ogre is a must buy imo. I had to pay import price in Japan for this one cause I didn't wanna wait for it, ended up being about $60. Worth every penny. I'm more addicted to it than any game in a long time. I'm playing my PSP in bed with the lights out instead of finishing up any of the PS3 games I was working on.

Just my opinion. FFT was an all time fav of mine so, this hits the mark big time .
