Someone can probably come up with a better name. If so I'll change it then.
Anyways... Put in quite a few hours into Dragon Quest VI, I think I'm nearing the end of the game as
Code:
I'm hunting for Legendary equipment and found the main character's physical self.

Finished Golden Sun. Glad to be done with it. Was sort of fun, but the story got so offtrack that it was annoying. It kind of reminded me of that Simpsons episode where they tried to introduce Poochie into Itchy & Scratchy and Milhouse asked when they were actually going to get to the fireworks factory. Probably won't purchase the second one.

Super Happy Fun Super Journal!
I like it because 'super' is in it...not once, but twiiiice.
Finally playing Radiant Historia.
I like it so far, but not completely sold yet (too much goddamn dialogue, and like 5 battles thus far... get on with it!!). I'm not sure whether I love or hate the artwork and spritework. The stark black shadows annoys me in the artwork, and so does the sprites' meager frame rate (outside of battles anyways, the in-battle ones look great!! ...which is odd, it's like they gave up for the field sprites). Great music so far, but the prologue last an hour and we hear about 3 recycled tracks. I like the game, but the lack of polish adds a bitter taste. I'm at the "first big choice", I think (the twins are making a big deal about a node, so...).

Been playing Command & Conquer 4 with my friend. We blew through the Nod campaign over the Weekend, the last mission was really tough, involving a limitless supply of enemies comming at us while we try to capture three nodes while not losing the three nodes we start out with. Then a giant plane comes out of nowhere and starts bombing things and when it lands, it drops in reinforcements. We had to divert all our attention to destroying the plane that we couldn't even deal with the reinforcements that were taking over the nodes. Finally it flew over a group of my units when it had 1% health and we were quickly losing control of the nodes. We took it down when we only had 1% control left - we won with mere
milliseconds
to spare!
Now we're playing the GDI campaign. Story's even worse than Nod's, though the missions are more fun. My friend has Mammoth Tanks unlocked, so he's just bulldozing everything. The first mission was easy as pie because of them. The second mission was a little tougher, though. This game loves to throw in giant planes to shake things up.

I decided to come up with a new user-defined action/event/verb system for my game engine.
I finally understand semantics or perhaps not.

Since we're in the middle of a Falcom kick right now, and that DQ and Pokemon bookend things, and also the reappearance of Tactics Ogre long thought to be forever lost to the wheel of time, and speaking of time there's also a game about rewriting Historia Radiantly.
Thus I suggest that we rename this thread "Wait! You're not Final Fantasy! You're Return of the Game Journal, 2!"
Alternatively: "Return of the Game Journal: The Radiant Wheel of Black TITS of Revelation".

I just killed Lucas Blight... why did you guys say he was a great villain? He was awful.
I kept expecting him to capture my sister and torture her and kill her and eat her for breakfast, yet nothing of that happened, because he's just nice like that.
