Talking about games is what the Game Journal is for.  This is for REEEL LAAIFE stuff.  Though it can involve "I sat on my ass and played games", you could probably also mention what you ate (Star/Yoda), philosphy and self and other loathing (Mesh), disturbing job stories (Leyv) or the lack of life you have because you study all the goddamn time (several of us, I'm sure, but I count myself here as well).

I'm confused. I thought this was the Game Journal? I never talk about food here, I miss the Food Thread. The food thread was awesome. It made me hungry. Gah! See what you have done? Now i'm talking about food in the Game Journal. Vile trickery!!

On topic: I've being playing Final Fantasy Tactics for the first time (So sue me) these past couple of days. It's really fun actually but my god it is hard. You are always out numbered, the random encounters level up with you and it's annoying when you cast a spell on an enemy and the enemy moves next to a bunch of your units when you are charging the spell and you end up killing half your team!

Other things I have learned whilst playing Final Fantasy Tactics: The Archers "Concentrate" skill does not stack with the Theifs "Steal" skills, so it was a waste of time gathering all that JP for him.

Do not name your White Mage after your little sister, because you will be traumatized when she dies.

Do not try and have all your mages as males and all your fighters as females. The game does not appreciate that.

FFT is one of the few games I had fun doing excessive grinding in.

Trying to play Grandia 2, but damn it's hard when you have to put up with 15 FPS in towns, no skippable scenes, and super slow text (that can only be fast-forwarded sometimes).  I like older games, but damn this is more annoying than anything I've ever replayed.

Final Fantasy Tactics scales specifically to the level of Ramza.  You can grind the hell out of the people you have with you and just make sure Ramza stays the hell away and you will have easier battles.
