It feels like Thomas Newman jumped on a video game train. ... I dig.
I'm back on Tales of Eternia. I beat secret boss Valkyrie with relative ease. But I'm a pussy to face Cless and Arche in the arena.. =(

Grabbed a copy of Crysis 2 to test my rig, playing on highest settings at 1920x1080 and it runs smooth as silk. Feels good.

Dead Space 2 refuses to end. I keep thinking that things are about to be wrapped up, and then something happens, and the game just keeps moving forward. I'm around 15 hrs now, which is a lot for this type of game. Yes, even for me. I'm enjoying it, but am ready to move on. My PSP looks pissed.

Wow, 15 hours? I usually take my time going through games (hell, it took me 55 hours just to get to the end-game of FFVII (meaning before fighting Sephiroth in the crater)) but I burned through Dead Space 2 in 9 hours or so. Either way, DS2 is pretty awesome game honestly so it shouldn't be a problem :D
Moving on, just finished Killzone 3 and Portal 2 today. Portal 2 is (unsurprisingly) awesome. It will be interesting to see what happens but knowing Valve I won't find out until 2015. And wow, Killzone 3. The graphics are ridiculously good and the gameplay is more than solid. For some reason I love the control scheme and the "feel" of the combat in Killzone 2-3 - for pure action it's brilliant. The story and characters are sorely lacking of course, not that the story is bad per se, but rather how it's portrayed is ineffective and cliché. I still believe it's worth it though.
Also finished The 3rd Birthday. Had gotten to the 5.chapter and stopped until I read a massive spoiler for the story on the Wikipedia page (in general info at the top of the page). Seriously, people who do that should be taken to the streets and shot but it prompted me to finish it. Personally I really liked it. I'll definitely be completing it again and trying to unlock everything. Loved the colors in it...

Finished Star Ocean: The Last Hope, don't think I've ever enjoyed a game so much in the beginning and then was soooo ready for it to be over by the end. Started NIER last night and after being off work today and logging @5 hrs I have to say so far I'm really enjoying this game!
