Do post some screenshot of ZoE2. That game never really aged graphically either.

Turns out that running that game with a stable frame-rate at higher resolutions is even harder than I thought. I can run FFXII at 4 x native resolution with rock solid 60 fps, ZOE2 is giving me a lot of problems even at 2 x native resolution, this game is fucking insane. I'm going to mess around with the settings a bit more.

I bred the best pokemon I will ever breed today. He has four perfect IVs and they all fell in the stats that prove most beneficial. It's weird to be this excited about a game I've clocked so much time on.

Been on a massive Dragon Age Crusade. Beat Origins for a second time, played and beat Awakening for the first time, and started DA2 for the first time. I'm thinking it's high time to take a tiny break. I got exams this week and an essay to write and if I start playing DA2 more then I will never stop. D:

Also bought Plants vs. Zombies on Steam when it was 4 dollars, and it's such a fun little game. I remember playing and beating it back in 09, but its still killer fun.

Also also bought Dead Space on Steam for 5 dollars, and gonna start that sometime soon. Preferably tonight and alone with headphones.

I started a new game of SRT:OG and I keep having to do chapter 7 over and over because the difficulty is on hard. I'm just a turn away from completing the mission, but the fucker I'm escorting keeps dying. On the bright side, I've gotten plenty of experience points and pilot points from it.

Not too much.  I played maybe about 7 hours of AC1 and was fine with everything from AC2.  I did, however, read a story FAQ of the parts I didn't play after I was done with it which helped.  A quick briefing could bring you up to speed.

I can run RE4 at 6x native resolution smooth as silk and with ZOE2 I can't even get a stable frame-rate at 2x. Anyway, I'm really struggling with the controls, it's hard going back to this type of gameplay.

Just like FFXII, the game has widescreen support and still holds up pretty well:

Messed around with the speed hacks and SOTC is running great now:

Still no luck with ZOE2 though, it's a shame, it's incredibly beautiful in HD. Seriously, there are no words:

It's playable but certain effects destroy the frame-rate. Looks like there's no way around it either unless they optimize it further.

Yay, I'm back!

I didn't do much gaming during the entire month of March. All I recall doing is starting up Digital Devil Saga, and playing a few rounds of various fighting games, but that's it. Oh no wait, I played through both campaigns of Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight co-op with a friend. That game was...decent. The acting was worse than usual, the story was terrible, the quotes your units spit out were annoying, and the game was way too short, but it was enjoyable while it lasted.

In April, I got really into Pokemon. I played through HeartGold until I got all 16 badges, Ho-Oh, Zapdos, and the Legendary Beasts. Then I got Pokemon Black and played through it until I got all 8 badges, beat the Pokemon League, and got Victiny, Reshiram, Tornadus, and all 3 of the Musketeer Trio. After that I beat the Pokemon League in Emerald. Then I got some more pokemon in Red & Blue (Going for completes in both). After that I played my other Red for a bit. Then I messed around a bit with Pokemon Yellow, Gold, and Silver. Between all that I played some Civilization IV with a friend. Unfortunately I didn't know that the only win condition the game was set on was through annihilating your rivals, so I kept going for the ISS win only to research all the tech then realize that I can't build the ISS.=( Oh, and before all that I played some of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Played through the Egytian Portait, whatever it's called. I'm sure I'll get back to it eventually.

May has seen the most variety so far. I picked up Red Steel 2 at the end of April and played through 6 missions of it. It's everything I'd hoped it would be so far, I can't wait to get more into it. After that I played through another scene of Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars. I really should play that game more, but I waiting to pick up a legit copy before I really dig into it. Then I played through another map on Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2. I think I make this game out to be harder than it really is. Episode 10 took a gazillion tries but a lot of it was due to my own stupidity. After that I started a new game on Tales of Phantasia. Got to the Long Valley in about 3 hours, which isn't too bad I guess. I skipped a bunch of side stuff, though. Then on Sunday I finally started Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition, which my friend had gifted to me when it went on sale last Monday. I was immersed right from the get-go, and I think I really picked it right for my class and origin - I'm a Daylish Elf Archer Rogue. Lastly, on Monday, I played Dragon Warrior 1 for the GBC. I got the Pixy Flute, leveled up to Level 8, and got an Iron hammer. Then I fought a Golem, and died. The Pixy Flute didn't do jack after the first time.=(

So yeah, that's all the gaming I've been doing for the past two or more more months. Hopefully I'll be here more often so I won't have to make such a freakishly long post about the same subject again.

OG2 like most SRW games isn't really that hard unless you're doing the Skill Points/Battle Masteries and you're on your first playthough in which case it actually does get really hard (especially at the end if you're not prepared for it or aren't cheesing the hell out of the WildFalken R). Also god help you if you want to get all the bonus items off of Episode 15 (hint: to get most of them you have to shoot down every enemy rather than escape like you're supposed to do, the other bonus item is received at the start of the episode if you met it's requirements earlier).

We should battle sometime. I'm one more Pokemon away from completing my Bug team, at which point I'll only be battling.

Finished Jeanne D'Arc and started Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (yes I'm behind, but I just finally got a PSP a couple of mos. ago) so far so good, still working on Odin Sphere on PS2 (gotta be the worst tutorial ever, took me forever to figure out WTF to do) and got my copy of Portal 2 for my PS3 yesterday, so, busy, busy...unfortunately my work week starts tomorrow.

My gaming ADD has been going full throttle the past two months. I can't even sit down and play Portal 2 for longer than an hour.
