Mass Effect. Lots of Mako missions, not entirely horrible unless I forget to save, die and have to do the whole fucking thing over again. Other than that I love that I can scale the steepest mountains in this thing. I got Liara too.

How are you liking ME1 v ME2?

Will you be on my away team for ME3?

Funny enough, I don't think ME2 is the huge improvement everyone says it is. It does get better in some areas, and is definitely more streamlined but to me the jump isn't like the one from, say, Uncharted to Uncharted 2.

Two things I vastly prefer in ME1 are being able to put skill points in so many areas, and customizing individual weapons. By extension of the latter, I like actually having an inventory I can poke through.

I'm down for ME3 co-op! If we're on the same system. I think I preordered the PS3 version of the CE and I sorta wish I did 360 now - but I love my PS3 Shep. She's badass :)

Maybe I'll buy both.

I don't think ME1 lets you save mid-mission and continue from there, does it?  I remember dying at the very end of ME1 and having to start from the beginning of the planet.  Stupid mako.

You have to get out of the mako and save while on foot.

Or... sometimes you can save while in the mako. WTF. (The game doesn't always let me.)

I love planet mining. Plus it had the awesome galaxy music.

'Really, Commander?'

'Sigh, probing Uranus.'

I hated the way you navigated galaxies in ME2. It was like some shitty flash game.

I loved 2 but part 1 was a religious experience for me. I had a nerd-scifi boner the second I heard the music playing during the character creation process.

Love planet mining.  For some reason it reminds of Space Mountain at Disney World when I was a kid.  I just love the sci-fi aspect of it.

Ok I just played an AWESOME scene in alan wake. I won't spoil plot but you're basically killing bad guys on a rock stage while some 80's style Ozzy Osbourne metal plays.

The original music they have in this game has been fucking incredible.

Also, drink a 1/2 bottle of wine.

I agree with your thought's there, though i'm not sure how many think it was an improvement. Frankly, i'm not a bioware fan but enjoyed ME1 enough for me to get ME3 with the risk of $90. You know, Really it was DA that ruined my appetite

FF13-2 Demo (yup, gaming is that timely for me right now).

I liked it, but stopped myself in half an hour realizing I'd have to do everything I did over again.

I'm am so, so excited for the lineup coming around Summer time.

I'm with you here. I really didn't mind the Mako at all. Kind of missed it in 2, actually. The planet scanning, even after the upgrade, was just so tedious.

You've also thoroughly convinced me that I need to play Alan Wake. Because I need another game on the list. Thanks.
