I've been playing the most recent Golden Sun game off and on for the past week or two. It's very, very similar to the GBA games! Apparently I've already fucked up and hit a point of no return, though. Seems pretty damn early for that sort of thing. Anyway, I have two water adepts now, which is two too many in my eyes.
I've also been dicking around with Dragon Quest 9. Honestly, I'm not quite sure how I feel about this one yet. I like the class system, I like alchemy, but I'm not sold on the fact that all your party members are generics. I know DQ3 did this same shit ages ago, but I can't help but think things would be more interesting with a Yangus or a Jessica prattling at you.

Up to chapter 8 in Realms of the Haunting. Just met Belial after getting stuck on some non-puzzle for like an hour. And now shit is getting weird.

Took a break from TOR this weekend and started playing Alice: Madness Returns. Nothing really original about it but the atmosphere is great. I also picked up Catherine but I probably won't get to that for a few days.

Mass Effect 2! Loyalty missions. Mordin sang five minutes after telling Shepard to 'beware of chafing' when it comes to humans relieving tensions with turians.
Oh and bringing Jack on Miranda's loyalty mission was lulz.
Elnyra: (To Miranda) I was waiting for you to get dressed. Or does Cerberus really let you whore around in that outfit?
Jack: I like her. We still recruiting?

It remains an instructive lesson in how not to streamline a game or handle time dependent choices if that's what you mean. Going on other accounts though, when I play it my expectations will be
rock bottom

My embargo is up, so I spent the entire weekend playing a crapload of FFXIII-2 for review.
I enjoyed it more than I expected I would.

I did! I fucking did it! :D Got the Platinum trophy in the original inFamous. For what can tell it took me like... maybe a couple of months in total? Or maybe it was a few weeks? Either way, it was pretty hard finding those 350 blast shards among other stuff.
But yeah, I finally did it.

Infamous is probably the PS3 exclusive series I most want to play but haven't. How is #1?
I've been playing 999. It's fun, but after the 1st room it's much too damn slow. My whole commute was reading text.

Don't worry, you get two puzzle room consecutively after (just finished the 2nd, here's hoping for more puzzle fun).
I went with Snake and Seven. Good lot! I feel we're smart. I like the witty dialogue that occasionally pipes in when re-clicking stuff.
I already know the peeps I'm fishy of (er, more than others).

Pretty fun. It has lots and lots of replayability with the good and evil choices aswell, but the best part is that the sequel is even better.

I gotta start catching up on PS3 titles. A lot of the early stuff is around $10 -- defnitely worth a small splurge.
