So I'm eight hours into Radiant Historia. I've joined the fighters guild and started taking on a few quests. My former leader of the Rose Cochon (can't remember his name right now) has been picked up by a group of ...fighters or thieves.... I'm not sure.
I keep reading on here that the story gets really good and serious. For now, it seems like fairly typical RPG fare - especially at the beginning with Jack and Ridley bickering like children. I couldn't get past that the last time.

Radiata Stories. Fuck the Non-Human path too, it's a pain in the ass and the best characters are like half as good as the A-listers in the Human path. |

What she said... the non-human are soooooooooooooooooo bad. They are really really really awful. I seriously recommend going Human Path first and then Non-human for a New Game+ (Jack will be stronger, so that'll help) The best hero on the non-human side is like average at best when compared to the humans. One thing I love about that game though is the melancholy. No matter which path you choose, you can't save everyone/everything. This brings a lot of weight to the path you decide. |

Because I'm bad at moving on, I randomly started Mass Effect 2 on Hardcore. I've never played Veteran, so it was... an experience. I even spent forever saving Garrus Archangel. Sorry Mordin, you and your quarantine zone must wait.
