Wind Waker HD

Won't lie, I'd love trophies for Zelda games.  Do the three heart challenge (Gold).  Beat X Boss in #min (Silver).  Chart every part of the Sea (Bronze).  Cut down 1,000 patches grass, bush, or tree.  Roll into the wall 100 times.  Etcetera....etcetera

Code: [Select]
I love how Tetra goes from this mischievous little pirate Cpatain to helpless Princess all thanks to a wardrobe change and new hairdo and makeup.  Granted, the circumstances are against her I guess, and I guess you can factor "repressed memories"...but eh.

Also, when you're in Deep Sea Hyrule castle and you go out the front entrance, there's a giant tower in the distance...is that an LoZ reference that I'm forgetting about??

The entire area is supposed to be the Hyrule from Link to the Past. The tower is the Tower of Hera (or was it called Eagle Tower in LttP?) You can also see the Lost Woods and Kakariko Village.

I thought it was that too, but the one in WW goes " \  / "  and the Tower of Hera in LttP is more pyramid-like.  It still could be that or Eagle Tower though (it seems to have wing-like finials on it).  But damn, I didn't see Kakariko, I should have looked more carefully.  I love the parts of a game that aren't explored sometimes for making me want to explore it....  okay, I guess that's actually a bad thing on the game's part (and another reason to love Xenoblade where you can basically get to any point that you see on any map)

Isn't that Ganon's Tower though?

Also Eagle Tower was from Link's Awakening, so unless you found yourself on Submerged Koholint Island, I highly doubt its that.

Also also, Xenoblade was awesome for allowing you to be able to run up to mountain peaks on naught but a semi-sloping surface barely as wide as your characters. Plus some of the panoramic views you can get from occasionally taking the high road instead of the direct path were amazing.
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

^- Fixed that for ya.

Anyway my 3D Touchclam arrived. Zelda is a hard copy, so yay, but wtf at no manual.

Maybe now I can finally get around to playing those SMT games that've been sitting in my drawer for months now.

--- edit ---

So I didn't understand how paying for things on the 3DS eShop worked and ended up buying twice as many games as I intended to. Oh welp.

One of those games was Summer Carnival 92: Recca.

Holy shit how even do you do that on an NES.

Synergist + Stagger?

Did you do enough grinding during the training montage that is GranPulse/Namek/The Land Down Under?

Or are you referring to FFXIII-3?

What classes are you using?

I find just going all out attack works well. Something like Com/Com/Rav worked well for me. Worst comes to worst, you can go Sen/Med/Med and try to survive through it.

If it is just Sazh and Vanille Com/Rav should work. If you get a preemptive attack use something like Blitz to stagger them. Then let Vanille murder them all.

Maybe but doesn't the clam turn into a pedometer and still consume battery?

Shield Weapon. It'll almost be guaranteed to be a shitty shield weapon. Hell they already did one with Shield Sheldon's weapon.

Link Between Worlds - Not being able to save in dungeons sure is fun.

Also fun is having to make sure you remembered to buy a 50 rupee fruit to escape from a dungeon now instead of whipping out your Magic Mirror. Fortunately, dungeons are short enough, shortcuts tend to open up after completing a puzzle, and you're provided with a mid-point warp to make it almost convenient to leave mid-dungeon. There's also a hidden fairy fountain in each one to make stocking up less of a pain.
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

After much peer pressure on this site and a very good deal on Amazon, I finally picked up 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors. I'm only on the second escape, but so far despite not usually caring for the VN style presentation, I am really enjoying it.
My Blog - It's about gaming stuff. You can read it if you want. No pressure. I mean, there's a link there you just have to click on, but... y'know... whatever.
