Anyone know of any good space shooters that are coop? Something like this game  but with coop. If not, any flying 3d shooter should also be fine.

I don't think Halo's what he's looking for.  Sure Halo 2 allows you to hijack vehicles, but it's an on-ground shooter rather than a flying one.  

I believe he's looking more for something like Descent with co-op.  A first person game where you're piloting a spaceship.  

The space shooter genre is one I grew up with in the 8 and 16 bit days.  I loved co-op shooter games like Stinger, the Thunderforce games, Forgotten Worlds, all that good stuff.  Spaceships, blasting stuff, boo yeah.  

Maybe that's why I liked Sigma Star Saga so much.  Nostalgia for shooters.  But that's an RPG with no co-op mode.

I  haven't actually played Halo so I didn't know there were no spaceship battles. Anyway, I think the Starfox or Rogue Squadron games would do, if they had co-op. But there could be loads of co-op spaceship battle games on PC for all I know.
