I was surprised no one else on these boards posted this yet, since it looks so unique.
This is a new PSP game from Acquire
interview
gameplay details
upskirt photography of maids
It reminds me of Kenka Bancho, like maybe "GTA Akihabara: Way of the Otaku"
I'd love to play it if a company brought it over.

I'm just wondering what's the point of that game... other than making otaku look even worst.

I'd say this game has a 40% chance of getting localized...maybe less.

40% seems awfully high.  As far as I can tell the biggest appeal of this game is supposed to be the accurately recreated Akihabara (though from the screenshots, a bizarrely vacant Akihabara).  How many people outside of Japan have even been to Akihabara?

In PSP game Akiba's Trip, players must expose vampires by...exposing them. Ripping their clothes off reveals if the characters are vampires.

And now the game makes so much more sense.

it outsold everything else, holy shit
Especially surprising since this industry appears to be negatively affected by economy because of a particular earthquake.

Cool. People know what otaku means.

When I was in high school Jgo slang wasn't popularized at all, all anyone basically knew was "sayonara."

I wouldn't judge what 'people know' from RPGFan...

And did you really revive this old thread just for that?
