I was pulling for the Bolts.  That was an intense game.  But for the finals, I have to say go Canucks- they've never won a cup and, as much as I may love my Boston based family and friends, I don't like any of their sports teams. 

I'm a Devils fan and they did not have a very good season.  It's kinda silly how in north Jersey where I grew up, it was all wannabe New Yorkers who supported the Rangers (I don't like the Rangers.)  Here in south Jersey, it's all Flyers country (wannabe Phildelphians) and I'm not a Flyers fan.

To talk hockey for a moment though - good on the Bruins to rebound after what the Flyers did to them last year. I know the prevailing opinion around Philly was largely against Boston, but I personally am a fan of keeping things as close to the conference/division as possible. I must be the only Philly fan that occasionally roots for NY teams based on this philosophy. :-)

So congrats to Boston and, by proxy, the Eastern Conference. :-)

I wound up in the middle of the Lakers riots last June. They won too. But it wasn't like this.

And yeah they did it in 94. Is last night surprising? No, but it's still disappointing.

They were likely not Canucks fans. They probably went downtown intending to riot no matter the outcome knowing they can get lost in those crowds when the looting, burns cars etc. start. Police recognized them from other incidents like the Olympics. They aren't indicate of hockey fans or Vancouver.
