If there is one thing to take from Albert Odyssey... it has one of the best overworld themes ever composed.

Ugh. Dammit.... I really wish I still had my SS. I had 53 games. :(

Are Sega Saturn game discs sensitive like the Dreamcast?  What I mean, is that if a DC game had a few scratches, it may not read.  Does this apply to Saturn discs too or is it like the PS1 and PS2 games? My Saturn hasn't come in the mail yet but I got my first game and it looks good but it does have a good few light scratches on it.  I paid $40 for it, would hate to see it go down the toilet because of a few scratches.

Well, I bought more Saturn games yesterday.  I think i'm done for the most part.  I spent nearly $700 (Yes, i'm stupid and I probably wasted my money that could have been used for something better but i'm single, no kids and I have enough money to pay my rent, cell phone and internet bill.)  Here is the list of things I bought for the Saturn:

- Saturn (Duh)
- Action Replay (More save data and able to play import games)
- Guardian Heroes
- The House of the Dead
- Virtua Fighter (Came with system)
- Virtua Cop (Came with System)
- Virtua Cop 2
- Two Stunner Guns
- Two Controllers
- Die Hard Arcade
- Area 51
- Panzer Dragoon
- Panzer Dragoon Zwei
- Terra Diver (Known as Soukyuugurentai)
- Shinobi Legions
- Albert Odyssey
- NiGHTS
- Darius Gaiden
- Galactic Attack

I'm not buying Radiant Silvergun since it's heading to the XBLA this year (hopefully) and Panzer Dragoon Saga.  It's stupid expensive :(

I just thought of an other game that got huge praise back then: Dark Saviour. It was supposed to be the spiritual sequel to Landstalker. I remember reviews saying that it was one of the best action rpgs of that gen.
Just watched a few vids of Astal, man the game holds up so well, why didn't I buy it back then? Burning Rangers really hasn't aged well as I suspected, that game would've looked a lot better on the psone.

I was thinking about picking that game up to.  It seems kinda boring though.  Just running from room to room.

I never played it so I can't really comment on that.

You MUST play shining force 3 if you have a saturn, its amazing.
Its expensive but always on ebay.
The translation patches work on all the discs too so you can play all 3 scenarios.

After buying all of these games, at E3, they will announce their plans to release the majority of these on the XBLA/PSN.

Uh-oh, I just spent a crapload just now on eBay.  I payed $460 for three games. Panzer Dragoon Saga, Dragon Force and Shining Force III, all complete and look great.  I think I need to go throw up.  Here is a list of my Sega Saturn games as of now:

-Panzer Dragoon
-Panzer Dragoon Zwei
-Panzer Dragoon Saga
-Shining Force III
-Dragon Force
-Shinobi Legions
-The House of the Dead
-Virtua Cop
-Virtua Cop 2
-Nights
-Die Hard Arcade
-Area 51
-Albert Odyssey
-Guardian Heroes
-Darius Gaiden
-Solar Eclipse
-Galactic Attack
-Gunbird (Japan Import)
-Daytona USA
-Virtua Fighter 2
-Out Run (Japan Import)
-Kingdom Grand Prix (Japan Import)
-After Burner II (Japan Import)
-Gradius Delux Pack (Japan Import)
-Snatcher (Japan Import)
-Policenauts (Japan Import)
-Space Harrier (Japan Import)
-Terra Diver (Japan Import)

I think if I can somehow obtain Burning Rangers, my Saturn collection is as good as complete, unless i'm forgetting another important game out there.  I swear if Panzer Dragoon Saga gets released on XBLA or PSN, I will "Stand Tall and Shake the Heavens" so unless I want to be a completionist, i'm not buying Radiant Silvergun on the Saturn as it's about to be released on XBLA.  Unless it becomes dirt cheap afterwards, than sure, why not?

Not ever getting to play Dragon Force is one of my biggest regrets. Somebody needs to resurrect that for the iOS or 3DS or something.

Yes, I pounded my head into the wall right after I clicked "Buy It Now", the button was so shiny and the games were in mint condition, I couldn't resist.  I think i'm addicted to eBay :(

You're missing Shining the Holy Ark, that's the only other game I can think of that's well worth getting.

There's Shining Wisdom too (and the US gets the better Working Designs version as opposed to the messy translation from Sega Europe) which is fairly decent Zelda clone, though I wouldn't bother getting it unless you have a turbo controller, since the control scheme without one is pretty terrible. Legend of Oasis (Story of Thor 2 in Europe) is fairly good too, and shouldn't be very expensive.
