Tsunami will be bad after such a bad earthquake.

To whatever religion you are - god rest, nevertheless.  I can't imagine how many lives will be lost....

Uhoh, reports of aftershocks to come.  Nature's "fuck you" to humans...!

I was happy to see that Hitoshi Sakimoto, (Basiscape), Hideo Kojima, Alex (From Otaku site), members of Grasshopper and Mitsuda are ok :)

Goddamnit. I can't believe that this earthquake was bigger than the one that happened last year here in Chile. Well... we'll see what happens in the course of the day.

One of my closest friends is over there at the moment.  I've had no contact as of yet.  Hope he's alright.

Damn, this is terrible.

They're saying that the tsunami will be huge, affecting not only Japan but also Indonesia, Russia and other regions.

8.9! Holy Fuck, that huge. Hell LA usually considers a low 7 to be a disaster.

Boy, I hope enough people watched Toyko 8.0 to know how to survive having the precept of two tectonic plates you're country is built over snapping like the chain used to tie an active jet engine down.

Of course this will probably lead to the inevitable sequel Toyko 9.0 once all of this settles down but that's neither here nor there.

Damn. These large earthquakes won't let up. So far they've only counted 40 dead with 39 missing, so it doesn't seem to be too bad yet. I have a couple good friends over there right now. I hope they weren't in the area.

Both sides of the Pacific are on tsunami alert...

The footage I'm watching on the news right now is mindblowing, the damage in some areas is massive.

60 dead and 56 missing right now.

This video shows a boat that was caught in a huge whirlpool. Damn, that looks scary.

Between 200-300 bodies have been found now.

Some of the tsunami is starting to hit Hawaii now too.
