George RR Martin finally, and I mean *finally*, put out a release date for A Dance With Dragons. It will be released July 12 of this year. I'm pretty sure I finished the last book the end of 2005 so it's been almost 6 years waiting for this book. I really hope it's good, I enjoyed most of the A Song of Ice and Fire series thus far and 6 years is long enough to write a damn epic piece of fiction. I might just be spoiled by Steven Erikson releasing all his books on target and exceeding my expectations with with book somehow, but I am really putting a lot of faith in this story.

How about you guys?

I won't believe this book exists until I hold it in my hands, and even then I'll have some doubts.

This.

Now he needs to decide how long it's REALLY going to be so we can make sure he doesnt die before hand. Though...truth be told, Brandon Sanderson Wheel of Time > Robert Jordan Wheel of Time.....which is very close to Fantasy Blasphemy.
